Our Closer to Nature li'l sippee spill-proof first cup is intuitively designed for a leak proof, bite free easy transition from breast to cup. Made of soft silicone to be easy on tender gums, our integrated valve was designed by a physicist to provide goof-proof, easy drinking, and yet remain truly spill-proof. For those who do not know, the bottle nipples will fit in this cup's ring! Also, the rings from the bottles will fit on this bottle, making the Tommee Tippee products multi-useful! My daughter is not quite ready for her first sippee cup yet, but will be soon.
We have 3 of the smaller bottles (4 oz) that don't hold enough formula for our daughter any more. I bought these First Cups because I had heard from someone that the Tommee Tippee bottle and cup lids are interchangeable. They were right!! I simply changed the cup spout for a nipple and changed the lid. Now I have 3 full sized bottles that can be used later for sippee cups!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

leaks all over the place love all other tippee products but this one is horrible

This is the first sippy cup that I, and more importantly, my twins can get liquid out of. Based on that, I chose to use this cup to get my daughters off bottles, and at 13 months old, they've finally cracked it, I couldn't be happier to no longer get those comments about my girls still being on bottles, they're now using a sippy cup with ease.

Because they're able to get a lot of liquid out of it, they sometimes like to store it in their mouth and then spit it down their bib, and they like to poke the top to get liquid out of the spout, so I don't find this truly spill proof because babies can fool with it, but I'm not crying over spilled milk, its nothing that an experienced Mom can't get out of a bib :-) Also love that this doesn't have handles, my girls can grip onto it fine but don't throw these bottles like they do the ones with handles.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My 12mos old was breastfed exclusively and I could not for the life of me get her to take a sippy cup! It felt like I tried every one on the market. Then I tried this one and presto she's drinking from a sippy cup like she's been doing it her whole life!! All sippy cups are leak proof and some of them require so much suction to get the liquid out that even I had trouble! This cup, the liquid comes out with just a little suction and yet it's still completely leak proof! She loves the soft spout and it's the perfect size for her little hands. I love that it has the ounces written on the side and it comes with a lid. I would recommend this cup to everyone and especially those kiddos having a hard time with sippy cups.
Thank you Tommee Tippee for making the perfect sippy cup!!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
