We purchased this bunk bed for our 5yo and 2.5yo. It wasn't that difficult to put it together and it took my husband about 2.5hrs to do it with a help of another person. The children like it and it works just fine with the rest of the room setup. We use memory foam mattresses on the bed and cannot complain. I had to spent couple nights in the bed with my little one while she was sick, and I have to admit it was comfortable to sleep there.
Overall we're satisfied with the product.

Great bunk bed for the price. It is sturdy and it is made of all wood. My only complaint is that the slats that hold the mattress are quiet thin and i could probably break them with my hands, so before they break (because they will) i went and bought 2 sheets of thin ply board to put on top of the slats for extra support. I would recommend this bunk bed for younger children(4-11) might not be good for older children(12 and up). Extremely easy direction for assembly, took me and my sister, and we are not handy at all, about 2 hours to assembly

GREAT INVESTMENT!! I love this bed and so do my girls. It took my husband and I just about 2 hours to assemble (which was less time than we thought). The craftsmanship is great, very strong and durable. The saftey on the bed is amazing, the top bunk is so well protected to prevent the child from falling out and there is no wobbling when the children move around. I can even climb to the top bunk and the bed does not move... We researched bunk beds for a few weeks before we purchased one. This one is made of solid wood which was the main reason we went with it. I compared this with several other beds and almost every other bunk beds in this price range or lower was made of compressed particle board, this one is not. I am glad we paid alittle extra and got this bed. Our 3 girls share a room and this bed helped us add ao much more spcae for them to play, and there is lots of room for storage underneath. Its not too big and it looks adorable in thier room. The whole family loves it :)

I bought this bunk bed for my 7 year old, and am very pleased. The wood is very sturdy and compact, so it doesn't overwhelm her small room.
The one negative is that there are only slats that the top mattress rests on, which are sturdy enough, but when you tuck the sheets under the mattress, you can see them from the bottom bunk. I would suggest getting a board for under the top mattress, if this will be a concern for you.
Overall I am happy with this bed.
