          I bought this book because my daughter has a Noah's ark theme in her nursery. One of the previous reviewers said it would work for a boy or girl. The book is beautiful, but it does look pretty boyish with the blue stripes and blue embroidery. It has great content, though. Just think carefully before you buy for a girl!

                  I knew that I wanted a classic baby book for our son. This book has it all. It has pages for his first birthday, all the way up until his 5th. It has a page where we can list what was popular when he was born and pages for a family tree, as well as how his parents met. This book has exceeded my expectations.

                        We were given this book before we even knew we were having a boy and it would have been perfect either way. The artwork in this baby book reminds us of classic children's book illustrations, and it feels as if we are writing the story of our little man. We can't wait to read it to him when he is old enough. The embroidered fabric cover makes it a true keepsake we will always cherish.

                          I looked at the interiors of all of the available books at Babies R Us, and this is by far the most beautiful, sweet, narrative collection - both to chronicle my baby's first moments, and to tell a little bit about the Noah's Ark story. LOVE IT!
