I did not give 5 stars only because it scratches so easily, and when you first get it the smell of the lacquer is so overpowering. THe heigth is perfect for my 20 mo old. Great size and great product for the price.

This product exceeded my expectations! It's real wood and appears that it will stand the test of time with a toddler ;) I can hope, anyway! There was one problem with a nut that wasn't thredded all the way through so we were unable to fully assemble one of the chairs. I called the 800 number, was greeted by a very nice lady who sent an entire new package of hardware that arrived within days. All 4 chairs are now assembled and it looks GREAT!

Purchased for our Grandsons for Christmas so I can't tell you how it holds up. We did open box and inspect it. It is very nice wood and finish. Legs and seats seem very sturdy. The product was fairly easy to put together but the quality is lacking. It's the type of "wood" that is going to mark and ding easily and kids are very destructive. The table is about half the size I expected. It's "ok" for right now simply because my son is only 15 months. I imagine he will outgrow it by the time he turns 3 so it's not worth the money. I would suggest spending a little more and get something a bit larger in size.

I wanted a table/chair set for the grandkids in a darker color and this expresso set fit the bill. It is a very study set, but wish it was a little bigger, the 5 year old will out grow it fairly soon, but it looks good in my living room and the kids enjoy having their own space.

This is a beautiful set I purchased in the Espresso finish for my granddaughter's second birthday. It's a very nice & heavy set which should stand up to lots of tea parties. I'm very pleased with the set & it's as nice as I hoped it would be.

I bought this product for me 1 1/2 year old son. The wood is splitting at the "eye". When he crayons on his papers it created dents. I am very disappointed in this product. I went with a very researched and recommended name brand. I am sorely disappointed and would suggest with going for a different brand. Paying for the name wasn't worth it!

We love the table. It is a good size we a good amouint of surface area to play on. Overall the decor of the table is nice and fits in with our furnishings. The only drawback is that the top scratches easily. We've only had it a month and I used a furniture pen to fill in the scratches.

great table but not the size it stated it should be. Smaller than the size it said it was.
