This chair is nothing to get excited about. It looks a lot nicer in the picture than it does in real life. Calling the material "luxurious" is more than a stretch. It's cheap. Period. And the color is a bit darker (more on the brown/tan side) than what is represented. Also, the stain on the wood leaves a lot to be desired. It looks like they slapped one quick coat on it, and so it's not nearly as dark as the picture shows. You can see the grain through some of the spottier areas. That being said, it's relatively comfortable. Though I just put it together and have only been sitting in it for about 20 minutes. Fair warning about the size, it is small. I'm not a petite woman (5'4 and 190 lbs at 8 months pregnant) and it's snug. But I actually don't mind that. However, if I didn't have the ottoman to put my feet up, I don't think it would work for me because the seat is very shallow. All in all, I wouldn't have ordered it if I had seen it in a store first. But now that it's here and together, I'll live with it because the babe could be here any day. :)

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

despite the clear description above (at least, still there when I am writing this), this product does not have a 6 position locking system. Babiesrus has been very responsive and we'll hopefully get this sorted out, but just so other consumers know- THIS DOES NOT LOCK!
(and, in case you didnt notice, the color in the picture is tea & expresso, not congac)

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I just got this glider, but so far I really like it. The wood and fabric are really nice. The only thing is that the seat does seem a little snug. Definitely not designed for larger sized people.

This is a small rocker that's perfect for petite moms (it's slightly snug for my larger husband, but it's not a problem). It was $100 more at a specialty childrens' bedding store.

No complaints, I like the chair. It was easy to put together, quiet, and never fails to put our son to sleep. My wife and I were happy to find something that had simple clean lines without large bulbous cushions.
