I got this as a shower gift and absolutely loved it. Both my husband and I were very comfortable in it and it was a total bonus that it came with a side table which comes in handy! But after 6 months of use the lock would constantly lock every time I rocked and then one day it just broke. The mechanism that makes the chair glide totally just fell off and apart while I was feeding the baby in it. The next day I screwed everything back in and to my surprise I got it working again, then it broke again, unfixable this time- the wood just cracked (I am 110lbs). For this price I expected a lot more. Of course BBrus is not helping because it is past the 90 day return policy and the manufactures are totally giving me the run around. So buyer beware, there are much better products out there don't waste your money or child's safety.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We were looking for a glider that wouldn't break the bank. We chose this one and we are happy with it. It isn't as comfortable as the higher end ones. It was easy to assemble and fits well in the room. It probably wont be a chair I will find myself falling asleep in but it fits the purpose.

Ordered this glider from BRU after EXTENSIVE research on gliders. I'm very impressed with this glider! The glider arrived yesterday and my husband had it together in less than 45 minutes. Simple and sturdy assembly. The wood finish matches our other Espresso nursery items perfectly and the cushions seem to be high quality-very soft and comfortable. The chair glides smoothly with the ottoman. My husband is 6'1 and I am 5'4 and we both fit comfortably in the chair while able to lay our head on the backrest. We plan on getting a lot of use out of this glider through feedings and soothing time. Very pleased and would recommend this glider to all!

Love the rocker. Great at 2am when the baby is fussy. Easy to assemble. Only downside (and why 4 stars, not 5) is that the lock mechanism occasionally locks in place on it's own.

After lots of comparisons I picked this chair because of the depth of the seat cushion, the width of the seat, the locking mechanisism and the side table. As a nursing mom I had been warned that a table would be necessary close by. Everything was easy to put together and looks amazing. After seating in it I was so pleased. It is very comfortable! It glides smoothly wiht no loud noises, it fits me perfectly and is great qualtity.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
