I have coveted this playard and it's accessories since I saw it from an ABC Show magazine. I went and ordered it in to the nearest Babies R Us (due to the exclusive pattern) as soon as it was available. I am expecting my 3rd child very soon, so all I can really review on is the expected functionality and the product assembly directions. I'd like to clear up some confusing points in the instructions... First, when you take everything out of the boxes you will find 2 bars covered in foam. They look to be foam packing. DO NOT TAKE THESE FOAM PIECES OFF! They are bar cushions to help pad your Cuddle Cove Bassinet. I mistakingly did and actually ripped one in half trying to get it back on! Secondly, the instructions are a bit confusing when it comes to where to put everything. Make sure the clips to hold the cuddle cove bassinet are NOT on the same side as where you will clip in the diaper changer. They will need to be on opposite sides. If using the removable cuddle cove bassinet first, do not install the vibration pack in to the lower bassinet, because you will need it to go in to the removable bassinet instead. Third, the instructions are pretty shady when it comes to putting batteries in the noise/light/vibration control. They say to remove the 2 screws to put the batteries in. Know that the batteries go in THE SAME SIDE AS THE BUTTON CONTROLS. Thus, you will need to remove the screws that are directly behind the buttons, in the inner part of the "C" shaped module. Regarding functionality, this Pack n' Play has it all! The cuddle cove bassinet is a dream come true. I can imagine it will come in handy whilst toting baby up and down the stairs tending to my other 2 children. I assume it would be a very easy pack to take to Grandma's house or use as a craddle anywhere else too, but dis-assembly might be difficult if you have tight spaces to travel. The dis-assembly of the actual playard is quick and easy. The storage bag is sufficient. It will not, however, hold the cuddle cove removable bassinet and the diapering accessories inside. You might be able to get the net bassinet portion to fit; but I didn't try. There aren't directions for how to attach the diapering accessory organizer, but if you just hook the hooks on either end of your pn'p you can snap in the organizer. I absolutely ADORE this playard. I cannot wait to have some real-life use out of it. I am certain I will use every portion of it. Well worth the money for workmanship and functionality. I wish they had this when my other 2 were babies!

I purchased this playard a week after my daughter arrived in October 2011 instead of buying a crib. I returned it in December.

Set up was quite easy -- though not quick because of the many parts. It also took longer for me because the playard doesn't fit through an average doorway. I had to break it down after my cousin partially installed it in one room in order to set it up in my bedroom. Although the product's padding is sufficient, I had it in mind to buy BRU's portable crib mattress for extra support and cushion. I didn't get around to that because my LO never slept in the bassinet.

CONS
- The 'Newborn' Cove is not meant to last long and most babies will outgrow it within weeks.

- Changing table tilts left. I am sure my LO was never as comfortable as advertised when she's smooshed to one side for each diaper change. This inconvenience may be typical in all playards with the changing table feature, but I really hated seeing so much wasted space that I couldn't take advantage of. Note: Tilt gets worse as baby gains weight.

- As for the 'organizer', the sections are awkwardly shaped. Looks cute, but very impractical. Which turns out to even more wasted space. I am yet to see wipes or diapers in the shape of a TRAPEZOID.

- The vibrating unit is a little box that plugs into the bassinet or cuddle cove. So, it has to be taken out and re-installed to use it with either feature. This is an inconvenience if your LO likes being vibrated to sleep. You cannot hold a baby in one arm (or lay him/her down) to take out the cove, lift up the bassinet pad, fiddle with cords in order to unplug them, take the vibrating box out, re-do everything you have undone, then plug the vibrating unit into the cuddle cove. That routine will get old real quick, and the child will either have to sleep in the cuddle cove until s/he outgrows it. Or, never use the cuddle cove and stick to the bassinet.

PROS
Graco's playard is well-made. After comparing it to Safety 1st and Chicco, I purchased it for the quality of its construction and set of features. Though they are not well-designed or thought out, the features work fine if you are not purchasing nursery furniture.

All in all, Graco's new playard is not worth the price tag. Not even with BRU's regular discount coupon of twenty+percent+off.

My baby boy used this pack and play as his bed for the first 2 months. We had it set up next to our bed which was great for all of his feedings.

The cuddle cove was AWESOME. He napped in it daily and we used it up until he was about 4 months (he grew super quick). It was especially good for keeping him secure while getting ready for the day. It was easy to carry him up and down the stairs and into rooms dwithout disturbing his sleep. The vibration was also great :)

The only con is the changing station. We used it only a handful of times before giving up. The slant makes it challenging to change an infant that is being rolled to one side. Maybe it will be easier with the second, but as a first time parent, my husband and I were frustrated with the changing station, and didn't use it.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We registered for this playard and received it as a gift. Our daughter is now a little over a month old. The bassinet has been a LIFESAVER for our family. Neither my husband nor I ever got the hang of swaddling well, and our baby becomes upset when she is laid down in her crib without being more "secured." So, since our first night home she has been sleeping in the bassinet on the floor next to our bed. She also spends some time in there during the day. We tuck a blanket tightly around her and under the snuggly infant insert (from under her chest to down around her feet so that it doesn't come up near her face). Baby seems very comfortable whether awake or asleep, and the vibrations seem to soothe her. She'll stay asleep in there for several hours straight.
The mini changing table is also a nice feature. It's convenient to have it set up downstairs so that we don't have to go upstairs to her room every time we need to change a diaper. The side pockets are a good size and can fit diapers, wipes, hand sanitizer, washcloths, and burp rags.
I gave 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons: 1. Vibration feature on the bassinet drains batteries very quickly, so there is a maintenance cost I hadn't considered when registering. The battery pack also needs to be adjusted often to start working again. 2. The changing table tilts to the center of the playard, so baby rolls down into the side.
Overall I think this is a wonderful, practical, high quality product, and I would HIGHLY recommend!

    I love this pack n play! It was completely worth every penny! It's set up downstairs so i don't have to go up and down to change my son's diaper. I love the cradle and so does my son, he has slept in it everyday since he was born and he is 10 weeks old! I would change a thing about it!!

      Although our little girl hasn't made her arrival yet to test it, so far I am happy with this product. The color scheme is nice (pretty gender neutral) and to me looks the best of all Pack-N-Play brands. It was easy to install (I'm 36 weeks pregnant and put it together in 2 hours with no duct tape or cussing) and it seems like the mattress area will be comfortable for her to sleep in once we get to that stage.

      The only complaints I can see so far is that it doesn't fit through a standard door. so you have to take out the sleep cradle, changing station, and then unfold the pack and play partially to get it through a door. Little bit of a hassle.

      It does look like it will be easy to travel with.

      We are using this as our primary crib at the moment. I agree with others that say the changer is not overly strudy, but works when they are younger. I was able to take this off after we did end up purchasing a dresser with changer.

      Our little one sleeps in the upper bassinet and the cuddle cove is in the living room. I admit that I didnt think the cuddle cove would be overly needed, but we love it! It is great to move around the house. Now our little one is only 5lbs, so it will work for her for a while. I would think with typical babies their time in it would be limited.

        I really liked this pack-n-play, I received it as a gift for my baby shower instead of a bassinet. I feel like I can get a lot more use out of this than a bassinet, which will only last a few months. It was fairly easy to assemble & sturdy. I like the compartments on it to hold extra diapers, wipes and creams. I haven't disassembled it yet, so I'm not sure how difficult that may be to go back into the bag. This line also comes with a matching high chair, swing and stroller.
