I purchased this for my 2.5 year old. He has recently taken a liking to Chuggington! This pieces where easily put together and is a perfect size for a starter kit. It was put together in a matter of moments and I can see us taking this with us when we travel (not for everyday travel, but for trips to grandpa's and such). As he gets older we can add on and make it more elaborate. For now this does the trick!! We also purchased "koko" so he could have all three of his favorite chuggers to play with.

Bought this for my 3 1/2 year old. Track is pretty easily put together, but when you go to take it apart, unless you take it apart exactly level, the track starts to bend. After 1 week, my son has broken 3 of the pieces by trying to take them apart.

The tracks come apart very easy, which is really annoying. I'm constantly putting them back together. I've spent a lot of money and now I've decided to just get him the wooden Chuggington trains and a wooden train table (they are compatible)

Was gift for a 4 year old. All of the grandkids are into wooden trains. Thought the die-cast was different. He loves Chuggington. It would be nice if it connected with wooden railway. Also the die-cast and interactive tracks are too similar. I got the wrong track pack. Not happy with plastic track, the tab on the interactive broke the 1st day. Because the track it plastic, it is easy to transport.
Lower in price than wooden railway.

This was a Christmas gift for my 2yr old son. He LOVES this set. Yes it's plastic and yes it bends, but if it didn't it would break. This track has been pulled apart and put together numerous times a day everyday and it hasn't broke. We love it!

This product (track set) is cheaply made. I expected more from this company. The show is a hit in my family, just wish the toy was too. My son (2.5 yr old) can't put the track together by himself... maybe if they just made the trains to fit the wood tracks that everyone already has it would be better.
