my dad wanted a dvd player that he could take from room to room. this one is perfect. it's small but big enough to see. the color is great and it is light. my father is 91 and he had no problem figuring out how to work it.

Very happy with this product. I was a little hesitant cause I am a name brand shopper, and usually opt for a Sony product when it comes to electronics, but I would totally give the Coby brand another try in the future. We have used this DVD player probably every night for the past month, traveled to and from Florida with it. The sound, video, and battery are great. I would totally recommend this to someone.

My 1yr old daughter got this for Christmas and watches it every day. Im a student and have to be on the computer so it is great to have her sit next to me watching her movie, she thinks its a computer. We also watch it in bed and on the go. We can hook it up to the tv for a bigger view. Sound and picuture quality is good. Battery life long enough for a couple movies, but it comes with car and home charger. The screen rotation feature is great. Great price for 9inch. We love it.

Ordered DVD player online. Received and took on the road and disappointed. Product did not work; kept giving DiscError and would not play. Applied troubleshooting switching DVDs and charging to full power and cleaning DVDs etc and nothing worked. Had to wait three weeks until my return to return item. Went to store for refund but accepted new replacement came home and it worked fine but very loud tracking noise. Heard DVD running louder than actual DVD movie. Store not very cooperative in Returns but saved by protection plan I bought with product. Would NOT be buying any more electronic items at babies/toys r us!

Worried about some reviews we read. Really about ALL poor reviews on every single portable DVD player out there. It was hard to choose. We got this for our 4 year old daughter to have in the car and/or at restaurants while we're out to keep her busy. It has survived our 20 hour round trip to DisneyWorld. We did NOT EVER leave it in the CAR! I think THAT is CRUCIAL to your dvd player's survival. It folds up to a nice thinner size and my daughter figured out the swivel to be flat screen all by herself without damaging it. It has a return to where you were ability and ability to get to root menu...these are IMPORTANT features to us, especially when you turn off car to eat/get gas and then have to start all over w/some players---that's terrible. This is great! very good sound and picture. We are impressed! I like that it will swivel closed so my daughter cannot accidentally press "open disc". battery life lasts easily 2 whole disney movies and that's enough for us! We've had it about 2mos now and have had zero problems. we did make sure to buy the protection plan bc toys r us is AWESOME about that. you REALLY will get your money back on a giftcard w/NO hassle - as we experienced in the past this year on a broken kids' chair leg. i advise you to pay the $$ for the protection plan w/anything, especially dvd players so you can be worry free.

Horrible DVD player. It would not read any discs, including never before opened discs! Do not waste your money on this junk!

My girls love this. When they do not want to watch what we are watching, they will go upstairs and lay on a bed and watch a movie together. My 8 year old figured out how to use it without any help from me. Love that it comes with a car charger for our long drives to the shore and Georgia.

Dvd player is the best thing ever! works well....and doesn't have a very loud speaker, which works for us...beats arguing for the kids to lower their movies ..great item.

I got this because I wanted to make an airplane ride for my 17 month old as smooth as possible. The battery life is amazing, the picture quality is good and it was very easy to use.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for our five year old daughter. She loves it! It is easy to use and great to take anywhere. The only thing I wished was better was the battery life. It is about three hours so if you are on the go you want to take short shows or movies and make sure it gets turned off.
