Description

The First Years S430 Indigo Stroller in Urban Life Gray is Easier for You, More Comfortable for your Baby! Finally a stroller that is durable and, yes, it really will comfortably fit your little one up to 50 lbs. The modular Euro styled design and contemporary fashions combined with our unique reversible seat will make people take a second look! Keep your eye on your infant simply by releasing the seat and turning it to the rear facing mode.

Our universal infant seat attachment (included) means you can clip in many popular infant seats right into the stroller frame. As your infant begins their toddler years, simply release the seat and turn it to the forward facing mode and they can see what they have been missing! And the adjustable foot rest insures a comfortable ride every time. The larger wheels, 7 inches in the front and 8 inches in the back, means your stroller will glide over any surface.

The addition of the five point harness means your little one is securely seated. The taller, adjustable handle means no more hitting the back side of the stroller or the wheels while you go for that afternoon walk or trip to the store.

Sunny day - no worries, the fully adjustable and removable (for those cloudy days) canopy means your little one will always ride in the comfort of shade. And if your little one starts to nod off during your long afternoon walk, simply use the recline feature and they can comfortably snooze while you continue on your way!

The large upper storage console for you means your water bottle, your keys and your wallet are easy to access as you are out and about. The underneath storage provides plenty of room for your diaper bag and any other extras you bring or buy along the way. The rear wheel brakes will allow the stroller to stay in place. The Indigo stroller also features an easy one hand fold and weighs only 22 lbs.

Features

  • Durable, modular Euro styled frame rated for use to 50lbs
  • Easy release reversible seat with a 5 pt harness for rear or forward facing use
  • Taller adjustable handle height
  • Universal attachment for use with most infant car seats
  • Easy one hand fold with or without seat removed

I have this stroller, only in dark blue. I was pretty skeptical since the price is pretty low. I really wanted a stroller where I could see my baby or have her face forward. I have had many many strollers. My last was a double that was awesome, but I didn't need it any longer since my older 2 are too old to ride in one. It cost over $700!!! Loved it, but come on! I got this stroller and it was super easy to put together. The seat needs to be removed to fold the stroller up, which is super easy. In order for switch which way the seat faces, you just push the tabs, remove the seat, and change direction. I've even done it with my baby in it. Maybe not a good idea for everyone, but it's that easy. If you want to let the baby recline, there are about 3 positions, and the feet can be up or down as well. The cup holder is a soft one, but has a zippered pocket which is great to store money, keys, cell phone, etc. There are 4 cup holder-ish compartments, but if you use all they space is a little tight. I have never really needed that because there is a basket underneath. I really really love this stroller, and would recommend it to everyone. You can use it with a car seat, but I bought it after my baby was in the infant seat. Easy to use, light weight, good value. What's not to love?

I use my stroller ALOT and this one just doesn't cut it. About 2 months after I got it the wheels started bowing out and now it pulls so hard to the left it is painful to push for more than 10 minutes, since I have to struggle to keep it straight. It is impossible to keep clean. The snaps that hold the seat on are popping off. The seat is ripping underneath where it rubs on the cross bar. The canopy is small and the harness is tight even though my son hasn't quite reached the 40" height limit. The 2 good things are the very large basket and the reversible seat, which is why I chose it in the first place, but I would not purchase this again. You get what you pay for!

I love this stroller. It's perfect for my newborn cause it reclines flat. its easy to steer even my toddler steers it. The stroller is easy to store and close but it does slam so u gotta watch your fingers, thats the only complain I have. I can carry the stroller with my newborn in hand once the stroller is closed. i love that it brings the universal car seat piece so u have 2 options, u can use the car seat piece with ur own car seat or use the stroller seat. I got the grey color cause everyone in new york has the red one.

I bought this stroller because my son hated facing away from me. He loves facing me in this stroller! It had a modern look and is sleek and lightweight. The only complaint is that the wheels squeak. I'm sure this can be fixed with WD40 but I haven't got around to trying that yet. For the price, this is a great stroller!

I use this stroller almost everyday. It's so easy to fold up. My 3 month old falls asleep in the car and with the carseat attachment I easily put him on this stroller and go. Then when he is awake he enjoys the seat that comes on the stroller. He can face me or face the world...depending on his mood! I haven't had any trouble and love this stroller!

Comments about The First Years S430 Indigo Stroller - Urban Life Gray:

We purchased this stroller in August 2010 just after our 2nd child was born. The pros of the stroller the infant attachment for the carriers is great. Stroller frame is lightweight and easy to travel with. Did a couple of Disneyland trips with it very nice.
Another pro of the stroller is that it fit our older son who has Cerebral Palsy. He is 6, but small for his age. He is only 30 lbs, but 42 inches long. He still fits very well in the stroller and it's tilting seat is great for naps when we are out. It now also fits our 1year old very good.
The biggest con of the stroller is the front wheels. After less than a year of use the wheels barely move anymore. They don't want to go in the direction you would like them to. If pushed it feels like then are going to snap off.
Another con is the way it folds up when the seat is attached, a little awkward to pick up and fit into the car/minivan.
Overall, for the money it is a good stroller. Just isn't a long term purchase.

Got this stroller for my 3rd child. Loved the look... still do. The wheels started to creek right away, and then I noticed one of the wheels wasn't turning right. The frame is crooked! I (like someone else who reviewed) thought it was my fault... clearly it wasn't. It's poorly made! Get something better!

Love this stroller and the attachment it comes with for the infant car seat. The only problem i had was that the front wheel messed up, but i think that was my fault for putting something heavy on it, smashed the wheel down. It was covered by the 1 year warranty, so replacement was free. easy to put together. comfortable for the baby to lay down and nap when out. Keep in mind that the manual says to disconnect the seat or infant attachment from the stroller to store in the trunk, but i don't and it fits fine in my small trunk.

The wheels start to squeak and wd-40 doesn't help it. After having it for 5 months it no longer moves. The wheels do not drive in the direction you are going. If you are grocery shopping any added weight will make it impossible to stroll this stroller down the isle way. Also, the straps don't fit on baby right. My daugter always has one strap that cuts across her shoulder. I think they are placed to wide.
