Our little one requires Zantac for acid reflux. The syringe they gave us from the pharmacy was hard to slowly move and we ended up giving her too much med at once (and she's spit it out). This syringe allows for a slower dispensing rate and we can give the 1.2 ml in about 4 pushes (increases the success of it going down). I only gave it 4 stars because there are no markers between ml, so it's hard to be exact when measuring the .2 --- otherwise a great, cheap purchase.

After my two month old daughter got her first round of shots we gave her a dose of infant Tylenol. The pediatrician called for 1.25mL and I went to fill the Tylenol syringe with medicine, and of course I dropped it on the floor. Thankfully I had a backup (I thought). I filled this syringe with the dose, and went to give it to my daughter only to press the plunger and realize that the syringe was leaving 80% of the dose in the long "neck" of the syringe. I determined she got about .25mL so I scrubbed the other syringe and gave her 1mL using that. I was incredibly disappointed in the way it dispensed medicine. The syringe is large and comfortable to hold, and it may work better with a larger dose of medicine, but for newborn/infant sized doses I definitely don't recommend them.

I wish this had smaller measurements

I needed to give my son a 0.3 mL dose of medication and the increments on this syringe weren't small enough.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Great for giving vitamins. Has a nice slow and smooth movement
Good price-I'm sure it will come in handy with a baby in the house!
Not the greatest

I got this for my daughter who has to be administered medication twice a day. My issue with this is that it doesn't dispense all of the medication due to the shape and way it is made. I was super dissapointed in this product and wish they would change the design so that all of the medicine comes out. I would not recommend this product.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This product is very easy to use and dispense to babies or children, Very attractive appearance and made very well.
Had problems but easy to squirt medicine slowely
Doesn't fill past 4ml easily but I'd still buy because it worked, I could squirt tiny amounts, and was cheap.
Doesn't work efficiently

About Me Parent of Multiples (Twins etc), Parent of Two or More Children, Stay at Home Parent
I purchased this product because the syringes that the pharmacy gives you with medicine have numbers that wear off of the side quickly. This product seemed like a good alternative. While I have had no problems with the numbers fading and it is easy to clean there is one major problem with the functionality of it. It relies on suction to pull up the medicine and the pieces that need to form a seal for this to happen, gap. You get air bubbles and it's hard to get an accurate amount of medicine which is obviously a vital function. I do not recommend this product.
