This remote control spider is as good as the advertisement shows. After we charged it my child turned it on and put it on the wall as we all watched it climb up to the ceiling. He quickly figured out the controls and easily drove it around the doors and windows. We have no complaints as it is more than we all expected. A great price and value for entertaining the family and grandparents.

      The spider has to be recharged after 10 minutes of use - therefore in my book it is a piece of Junk. Ran good on floor but stopped and had to be recharged after about 10 minutes - and the Instruction booklet says it will need to be recharged after 10 mintes.....

        The product worked well on Christmas day. The day after Christmas and every day thereafter I've left it charging for 23.75 hours. I unplug it everyday to try to let my son play with it and it lasts for literally about 2 minutes. It doesn't crawl on the floor or the wall at this point. Real bummer...

              It does not seem to be durable. Did not take long to charge. Could not make it crawl straight forward nor backward. The spider keeps on going in circles. We do not have very smooth walls so the spider kept on slipping off the walls. Maybe if we did, it would remain on the walls. I'm pretty disappointed overall and will be returning it.

                i bought this spider for m son at christmas and we tried it. first it didn't crawl up the wal. second 3 of the legs broke off within that day. and third it was a total waste of money!!!

                    This thing is hilarious! I hate spiders, but I let my daughter pick this out today at Toys R Us.

                    It takes 6 AA batteries in the remote, and then the remote has a cord to connect to the spider to charge its internal battery. It took less than 15 minutes to charge the spider and my daughter was playing away!

                    It actually does work on the wall (or ceiling). In order to get the spider to climb on the wall you must flip a switch underneath it. This activates a fan that creates a suction between the spider and the wall. The fan is quite loud (think small hair dryer), but considering the battery charge on the spider only lasts 10 minutes, it's tolerable. Once it got about 5 feet away from the remote it didn't respond to commands, so keep close to it while playing or it will get stuck.

                    Overall, it's a fun novelty toy. I don't see much possibility for creative play, so I don't know how long my daughter's interest will last. But, for kids who want a toy that really does something "supernatural," this is a great choice.
