Bought as Christmas gifts for my 6 & 3 year old boys. Purchased mainly because they won't have to pull anything back to fire. Simply turn on and pull the trigger. I've tried a few different darts in them, and so far every one of them has worked. Great guns, pleased with my purchase. While the purchase was a good one the in store pick up was a horrible experience. I ended up finding my items in a cart full of stuff waiting to be picked up (by request from an employee) and simply told I could go without signing for them or anything. This all after a 50 minute wait. I could of just went to the store and shopped myself quicker, but the store would not offer the online price an I was told I had to order online. I will never go back to the toys r us I Waldorf MD again.

This gun was a Christmas gift for my almost 5 year old nephew. It came in a close 2nd place to his favorite gift also from Toys R Us. It's his very 1st gun and it seems pretty easy to reload and shoot and appears light to carry, but does tend to jam if the trigger isn't pulled back all of the way when he's rushing or if his little fingers are wrapped around the barrel too tightly. It came w/20 darts and even a bonus bag as part of a promotion and we're definitely going to need them bc he's already lost a few today!

This was a Christmas Gift so my son has not used it yet but......his dad and I kind if tried it out. It was awesome. Very easy to use and he will love it.

i like the barracade because its light weight and very portable. I carry it in my pack in a nerf war as my side arm weapon and its easey to reload and has10 shots!

First off, a general overview of this blaster. This is a great gun, and I recommend it. But there are some things about it that frustrate you just enough to make you say you hate it. This blaster is the ONLY semi-automatic N-strike. Just in case, that means instead of having to prime the blaster after every shot, you just have to pull the trigger. The accuracy and range is not going to make your jaw hit the floor, but the darts will hit your enemy. This blaster always uses power when on, regardless of whether or not you are shooting, which is bad for tactical fights as those usually take a while. Also, if you want to go on stealth missions, the Barricade is the least suited as it always makes noise when on. If you have trouble using the cocking mechanism in other Nerf blasters, but don't want to spend a fortune on those full-auto blasters like the Stampede, then this is right for you. DON'T STOP READING!

Pros: Semi-Automatic, Great Ammo Capacity (10 darts), Lightweight, Cheap, low battery cost(3xAA), compatible with many accessories, safe.

Cons: Hard to reload(the barrel is fixed), jams if trigger is not pulled completely, jams when aimed downwards, jams when shaken, darts fall out when aimed downwards, uses batteries, loud, passively uses power.

Oh BTW, if you were wondering why there is a humongous tip at the front of the blaster, it's a safety measure, to make sure that you don't get hurt by sticking your fingers in and hitting the flywheels that propel the darts.

I absolutely LOVE this gun. It ALMOST replaces my beloved Maverick REV 6, but of course this one is motorized. I do, however, miss cocking it before I shoot.

I must say I own TWO of this gun, because it is so easy to use and control, that I am able to handle to in either "dual wield" or in sequence. The only possible problems with this gun is that you need time to fully re-fill it, and it is noisy, which does not bother me. It is still a five-star gun because it is quick, hard and pretty accurate if you know how to use it. It cannot be better!

this product is one of the best nerf guns ever ,i as well have it and like it,the only problem is that sounds to much.only problem about it is that it sound to much but it doesnt bother me.it is a great gun but it should bring a stock attachment and a scope with out being a ¨special value pack¨
