We purchased these on sale for all three of our children, ages 5,7 and 8. They have been begging for ipods, which is not an option. We bought them on sale for about half the original price, which seems the more appropriate price range. It isn't totally touch screen, but for the most part it is. If you understand that you aren't going to get "Apple" quality, you will not be disappointed. Be aware that the screen is about 1/2 an inch smaller than in appears in the package, but with all of that said, my kids LOVE their new "ipods"! The music and movies could not have been easier to load on to them. We haven't taken advantage of the free music yet, but we plan on looking for the kidz bop songs. My husband and I both have ipods, so we just went in to our itunes folder on our computer (which is automatically created for you when you download music on itunes) and just drag and drop! Seriously is so easy and very quick. Oh, and it comes almost fully charged. It also has a camera and camcorder. Sound quality is great, and can be listened to with or without headphones. Picture quality for videos/movies is great as well. We are very pleased with our modest purchase and glad we didn't overspend for our young children. It does have a lightweight and "cheap" feel to it, but like I said, they are little this suits them perfectly and it doesn't seem to affect quality at all.

I tried it out myself...I think the quality is alright for a child but as an adult..not so much. I did have to tap the screen more than once to get it going but it wasn't that bad!

What a piece of junk! Will not play while plugged in. Touch screen works when it feels like it. takes a long time to start after being unplugged. Battery runs out very quickly. Looks cheap. Dang mistake!

Bought this as a X-mas present for teenage son. I realize you get what you pay for but 3 days after opening it he picked it up to turn it on and the screen cracked. I took a look at it and was appauled by the lack of quality of parts to begin with. Coby is seriously hard to get a hold of and once we did, they refuse to replace or fix the MP3 player claiming physical damage. Don't waste your money on Coby products and buy something of better quality that will last.

What a waste of my time! Fully charged, it turns on only occassionally. The computer only recognized the USB connection maybe 1 in 20 tries. If you do get it to register, and you drag and drop files over...the PC shows they saved, but when you unplug and look for the files on the device, nothing is there. I wasted 2-3 precious Christmas day hours with this piece of junk trying to make my boy happy. He was so excited at first, but ultimately made him very sad. Thanks for nothing, Coby.

I bought this product for myself last year for Christmas. It wasn't really anything i thought it would be. Honestly when I red about it I thought it was going to be magnificent. Im 14 years old, the came- not so good , download music - ehh ok , radio - doesn't really .. can't find the right word , and the SCREEN IS HORRIBLE >;(
