For age the box says 6+ but I would say it is 6-11 but I am not sure. At first I was frustrated that I couldn't get it right it took abou a half hour but I got it right. Best for older kids that don't get very frustrated easily. Bottom Line: Good but you might want to keep the receipt from what some say.

    Do not purchase this track. Although it was easier to build than the last one that we tried, the cars WILL NOT stay on the track. They fly off every time they go into a turn, and you spend more of your time chasing the cars across the room than you do playing with the track.

        It's a racetrack, people. Cars will fly off if they go too fast. The controller allows you to control how fast your cars are going. Slow it down on the curve and the car will stay on the track. That being said, it does seem to lose its ability to run two cars at once, rendering the "race" part impossible. New batteries only work for a limited time, so unless you have stock in batteries, your money is probably better spent elsewhere. When it worked properly it was a big hit, both with my 4 year old and my husband. Fortunately for us, I purchased the protection plan and was able to return it in exchange for a gift card with the full purchase amount. It seems that all items with the same name have very low ratings, so I will stay away from them and try looking for something similar, but made by another brand.

        My son got this from Santa & it barely goes around the track without jumping off or plain just don't work. Not enough power for both cars to go barely around loop then if it does make it around loop first turn & it jumps off. Half the time it just won't work at ALL! Very frustrating! Taking it back!they should have never released this track! Waste of money & all the time setting it up! Very disappointed son! :(. Keep your money & buy ANYTHING ELSE!

                  I do not recommend this race track, the cars do not stay on the track when you give it full power. Once it gets to the curves they sling off the track, will be taking it back, glad I kept the receipt.

                            Well Toys R Us did it again! Another disappointing holiday for my son. Bought this for his Birthday and it won't run AT ALL. Cars do not move at all. I hate seeing his face after waiting 45 minutes while I put it together - so sad! I don't know why I'm surprised! I bought and returned 3 bikes at Christmas and everyone of those broke within 5 hours of assembly. And last Christmas my son thought something was wrong with Santa because nothing he brought worked. I'm done with this store!
