I have this car seat in the black and gray for my son who is 3. We got it when he was 4 months old and had already outgrown his infant carrier. It worked great as a rear facing seat as well as forward facing. The seat is easy enough for him to buckle himself, but sturdy enough that he cannot get it unbuckled. Only thing that I don't care for is the belt that secures it to the seat is extremely hard to adjust and get tight. For this reason we have only taken it out of the car 3 times since we first got the seat. Once it's in and tight (my husband had to do it) your good to go. I am going to get the same seat for my daughter who is now 15 months old and is really close to outgrowing the infant carrier. I can't wait for her to get her new seat!!!

I am so happy with this purchase. I did lots of research and this car seat was rated high by Consumer Reports -- and much less pricey than some other brands. We put my daughter in it at 13 months forward facing and 7 months later, she is still very comfortable. I see this giving us years of use. The cupholder is great (and removable). It is easy to recline and my daughter sleeps great in it on road trips. It is big, so if you have a smaller vehicle it might be overwhelming in size. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is bc the latching piece can be a pain when strapping in only bc it falls back and I have to reach under my daughter which can irritate her at times. It would be nice if it somehow just stayed put for the next time you load into the car. Most of all, I love that every time I look back my daughter looks comfortable and safe! I highly recommend.

i love this carseat its very comfortable and has a lot of room and padding the main reason i bought it for my daughter is because of the comfort and the reclining seat which is a down fall because you cant recline it in a car and still have it saftly hooked in unless you have a seat the is reclined to how u want it but i settled with it not reclining because it has a lot more padding then the cheep[...] one i bought from [...]

We got this carseat for our daughter when she was one and it has been great! The padding feels so plush and comfortable! She loves using the cup holder attachment. I love that this carseat can be used as a booster as well and we plan to get another carseat just like this for our next little girl who is arriving soon. I would not use this carseat with an infant though. It would take up A LOT of space if it was rear-facing but as a forward facing carseat, it's fantastic!

I think this seat is a great upgrade from the small carrier seat, however, I have a Scion xB and consider my car to have more back seat space then most cars. Even though this seat is supposed to be able to be used rear facing, it doesn't install correctly rear facing. There is not enough room to recline the seat as far as it should go. This causes her head to slump forward when she falls asleep. I had to go buy the Brica Koosh'n Neck Rest which works great, but it was a necessity for using the seat rear facing. I like the ease of seat belt adjustments on this seat and the extra space she has now so she can see better and play with her toys.

We've been through a roll over accident while my son used this carseat, he didn't budge. I loved the car seat so much that when we got new car seats from the insurance I requested the same carseat my son had and a pink one for my daughter. We recently went through the tornado at struck Lamber Airport in St. Louis and our carseats that were in our van were damaged due to glass, I again asked for these seats. I highly reccomend them, their easy enough my son (5) is able to get himself in his seat but can't get the crotch buckle undone by himself. My daughter used this as a rear facing up till 2 years old and we just now put her forward facing though I would not use for preemies or infants as to me the back it so straight to work with wobbley heads. My daughter was preemie and would not have used this for her but we got it when she was 9 months old and still being incredibly little worked wonderful for her.

So far its a great seat. My daughter seems to like it. My only nit-pick with it is the harness clasps are sometimes difficult to open, especially the chest clasp. Otherwise, its been great!

Got this carseat for my daughter when she turned one. LOVED it. I just recently had to retire it for no other reasons, except I own a SUV and I'm a little on the short side. So because the sides of the seat are high up and comfy I am unable to reach over the carseat and my daughter to strap her in. My parents now use it as the extra toddler seat for their car :) Never had any problems adjusting the straps.

Easy to install, easy to put child in and take out. Very safe. Looks great and is comfortable.

While there is nothing exceptional about this car seat, it is comfortable, not hard to install properly, and stable. In other words, no complaints. If you have multiple kids like I do, this seat is a good choice. The top of the back is narrower than some models which is nice for fitting multiple car seats in your car.
