Wonderful price, includes plenty of furniture to start. Exactly as advertised. I love that it's wood and reconfigurable. I bought the Melissa and Doug family to add. (Barbie's will not fit, 5" too tall.). I also love that you can stack it, so as no to take up tons of floor space, when not in use. I like the price, but will want something tall enough for Barbie later. I will definitely get my money's worth for a few years (hopefully!)

This is a great toy as far as I'm concerned. Warning, there is quite a bit of assembly, but it wasn't too hard to figure out if you're good at putting things together. You build the "rooms" and the kid can rearrange and do all sorts of stuff. And you get TONS of furniture and stuff to put in it. I think it's much better than those brand named doll houses out there.

I spent a lot of time researching dollhouses appropriate for my 3 yr old. I had actually never heard of Maxim before, so I had no idea of the quality of the product but so many of the previous reviews were positive that I decided to order it. It was a little challenging to assemble the pieces, and with the help of a drill, it took about 45 minutes. The instructions aren't helpful, but it's not rocket science to figure out how everything fits. Anyway, the house is awesome, solid construction, and there are so many pieces of furniture! Our daughter really enjoys playing with it. I would recommend purchasing more bendable dolls because the 2 that are included can only move their arms.
