Ordered because my son loves Perry. When we received, the picture on the guitar had Phineas and Ferb. NOT PERRY like the picture on-line.
VERY disappointed. Now it is too late to get replacement in time for Christmas.

I purchased this for my 4 year old son because he likes to watch Phineas and Ferb. The guitar is easy to play and has a variety of beats to jam too. I was disappointed that the characters pictured didn't actually say anything on the guitar as adversised. You don't know if it works or not without taking it home, taking it apart from the box and installing batteries. I think my son's little whammy doesn't work at all but he loves it and doesn't seem to mind. I was going to try to replace it while he is asleep. Also, It may be too big for a child younger than 4 as the handle is very long. My son is in the upper percentile for height.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I ordered this guitar for my daughter b/c she lover phineas and ferb and wanted a guitar. Theprice was great, however when I received the product in the mail it was not as described. It was not a learning guitar at all. There were no cords to learn on and it was all hard plastic(no wood as described). I had to take it to the store to exchange it for something better. This product needs to be described better so the customer understands that it really isn't a "learning guitar", more like a play/for fun maybe for a 3 yr old. It was junk. And it took me over 45min. to return it at the store b/c of the holiday rush which I wanted to avoid by ordering online.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
