Gun works okay and has good distance but does not allow for interchanging of dart types. Using other Nerf darts will only jam this gun (or misfire). Clearing the gun is another task because you have to rack the bolt to the rear to remove the magazine clip and access the jammed dart. Ultimately, if you use the correct darts, the gun is enjoyable. If you mix and match darts from other Nerf products, you will be constantly clearing the gun. The darts (after removed from a jam) are usually unable to be reused. Ultimately, a cool dart gun that needs minor improvements.

Great starter weapon! I got the normal version of this at toy r us, and it was great! I only have the Jolt and the Maverick other than this, but it stands up well against my dad with my other guns. Its a bit unaccurate, only because of bad darts, and the sight, barrel, laser are all kind of useless, and the stock is okay for starters, but a bit too flimsy. The gun itself is very powerful, providing good results. The cocking is pretty comfortable for me, even though its on the top. Only thing is, I wish it had a front sight, like the jolt and Maverick...

Instructions were pretty vague on getting clip in and out, resulting in a few stuck darts. After a few tries, we figured it out on our own, and now fun works great. Pretty accurate aim, shoots darts really far. Has a lot of add-ons, which is good because it's fun to modify gun, but bad because pieces can go missing. Overall, a great toy.

          nerf this is your worst gone i have ever seen. out of the box it shot about 5 ft. it didnt so much shoot as plop out of the barrel... i guess that can be good if you have a low pain threshhold though. The attachable stock is extremely flimsy. dont even get me started on jams. Dont get this gun- i wouldnt.

                This is the 3rd Gun of this type my son has gotten. The first was a solid yellow one that had mecanical malfunction. Second was the clear one that it broke the same way. The third is this translucent green maybe third times a charm.
