As soon as my son started pulling up, he was too tall for the crib. At only 17 months he can easily crawl out. I contact company and they said, "use the conversion kit for $59.99 + S & H". That is crazy to put a 17 month old in a toddler bed. My 2 1/2 year old is still very happy in a crib. Very disappointed with the crib and with Summer's customer service.

I purchased this product for my first child. It was reasonably priced and easy too put together. My son is now 2 and were converting to a day bed. The only problem i found is when he was teething and chewing on the rails the paint all came off in his mouth. Thankfully he wasn't a big chewer and i purchased the rail cover for the front but there was nothing for the sides. I ended up wrapping a tensor bandage around the sides until he was finished teething. A little touch up paint and its good as new.

Love the crib but very annoyed that you can not find the conversion kit anywhere. I am hoping the manufacturer can get it for me. I never would have spent the extra money on a convertible crib that you can't find the parts to convert. Very bad service on both the company that makes this and the stores that carry it. There are numerous complaints about this issue in reviews all over the internet since early 2012, yet I am still having to spend hours on hold trying to locate the conversion kit a year later. Get it together guys!

DO NOT BUY THIS COVERTIABLE CRIB IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON USING IT FOR A TODDLER BED. BECAUSE THEY CAN NOT FIND THE CONVERSION KIT ANYWHERE........YOU DO NOT SELL SOMETHING IN YOUR STORE IF YOU CAN NOT STAND BEHIND IT. WE BOUGHT THIS 2 YEARS AGO BEFORE MY GRANDSON WAS BORN AND NOW NEED THE TODDLER BED...BUT CAN'T FIND THE CONVERSION KIT...VERY POOR SERVICE......

My Fiance and I purchased the entire set (changing table, dresser and crib) to go with our lil prince's Jumping broom...winnie the pooh chocolate and mint pin stripe nursery!What was great about it is that the design was very easy to pair with my dream nursery and carpenter daddy hit the mark with the chocolate pin strips on the main wall.There really wasn't much that wasn't great about it except I feel like now after 1 year, the drawers seem a lil loose but still no biggie. I have already suggested this product to friends and family expecting.

We had ordered all 3 pieces of this set and love it!! It only problems we had was that part of the dresser came in damaged. But we just called the company and they sent us a replacement part right away. The customer service was amazing and the nursery is ready for the arrival of our baby girl. The pieces were extremely easy to assemble and sturdy once put together. The only thing I would say about it that was negative (which is why I gave it a 4 and not a 5) is the wood dents a little easier than I would like. But thats normal with any furniture you get these days. If you get this set, you will love it!!

This crib was very easy to assemble. It took my husband and I about 45 minutes. It looks great, especially next to the changing table and dresser. So far we are very happy with it, although our little one has yet to arrive. We also went and bought the conversion kit now so we could have it ready for when he needs it in a few years. We went to the store and had them order it for us. It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm glad we are doing this now and not waiting until we actually need it because they said it would take 5-7 weeks for it to come in. Also, I wanted to order it now in case they no longer sell it by the time we need it. Overall, I would recommend this crib!

This crib was very easily assembled by myself and my husband within about a half an hour. It came together beautifully; color looks great and matches the other dark cherry furniture we already had in the nursery. Can't wait for our little guy to get here!

The crib is nice, even though my daughter refuses to sleep in it, but I can't find the conversion kit online even though the manual tells you to go online to buy it. Really not happy about that!! Overall it was very easy to put together. I did it by myself at 8 months pregnant

Very beautiful color! Pretty easy to put together. I wish they had the screw caps though. Looks kind of tacky, but not too noticeable
