I have only had these a few weeks and I use them with my 6 month old daughter. I can squeeze them and take them apart easily. I think when she is older she will just play with them rather than having them as a squeeze toy since they are very hard to squeeze. I am tired of all of my squirt toys getting moldy so this is very nice.

My 12 month old got these for Christmas. I think they are great! We had no problem with them squirting as another reviewer had complained about. Ours came with two characters, a fish and a tiger. I like that you can take them apart and put them together to make silly characters and I love love LOVE that I can take them apart and clean them! I had stopped buying squirters because I felt like they would get nasty inside them with the mold that would form inside. These are great! I highly recommend them!

In theory, these toys should be great, but the design is terrible. Because of the way the toys are designed to break apart into two pieces, they do not squirt water out well at all. I got the set with the seahorse and cat. The seahorse barely squirts out any water, and the cat is so hard to compress that it does not squirt out any water at all. In addition, they are not that easy to open and close. Do not buy.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
