My 2 1/2 year old loves to help, whether it's in the yard with daddy or in the house with mommy. This was a Christmas present so he can help daddy keep the lawn mowed. He hasn't gotten to use it outside yet, but it also doubles as a vaccuum cleaner. LOL It's a huge hit in our home. Definitely a great buy.

I purchased this product over the John Deere Electric Mower, because it was significantly taller (my 2 year old is very tall) and $5-7 cheaper. I also liked the more "realistic" look. The height and look turned out to be perfect for my son but unfortunately the quality is also less, most notably the handle is VERY flimsy. The mower noises, wheels, etc are great, and the little green tinsel in the engine to show "grass" blowing is cute - but after 2 weeks it has shriveled up and sort of stuck together. We have played with the John Deere mower at a local kids museum and the quality is significantly higher, stronger handle, much sturdier toy. I expect to have to purchase replacement for this soon, though none of them are as tall!

      This toy is a piece of junk. My son had a push lawn mower and it got lost, so we bought this as a replacement. This is the worst toy ever! It is so flimsy that my son can't even push it out in the grass....the handles bend and flex and aren't strong enough to push it. I am so disappointed in this product. And the sound is getting stuck on. Taking this back to the store tomorrow, and we just bought it yesterday!

          My 16 month old grandson loves toy lawnmowers & this is the 5th one I have bought him (Yes, I spoil him...) This one is at the bottom of the list & I would have returned it if I had not torn up the packaging trying to open it. I should have listened to some of the other reviews that said it was so frustrating for a small child to have to pick up the handle that falls to the floor every time you let go of the handle. It is even aggravating for me to use when we both play "mow the yard" together. I eventually just stored it in a closet & will probably throw it the the trash when I need the closet space. Is is a DUD so don't waste your money!!!

                The sound button broke the first day we had it( it would not shut off). I returned it and got another one and the same thing happened! I've had problems w other home depot toys as well(breaking or they just do not work correctly) . The chainsaw and weed wackier also broke within a few days of playing with. They are not made well. Don't waste you're money on these toys!

                        The handles are very flimsy which makes this mower not work well. We left it outside like we do all outdoor toys. It rained and ruined the motor on the mower which was the only thing it had going for it. My son liked the pull mechanism but hardly touched it otherwise. I bought him a bubble mower within weeks of this one and he loves it. Do not buy this. It's not worth the price!

                        My son has the bubble mower, but wanted this one because of the puller and because it matches his other home depot tools. The same day we got it, the sound would not turn off because somehow the button got stuck. We had to tape it down to keep it from going off. The mower in general is more flimsy than his bubble mower, and my son had a harder time pushing it because the handle would bend.

                        My son currently has the bubble lawn mower that he LOVES!! My 4 Year old son got this for his birthday. It is a bit short for him but, he seems to like it. He likes that it has a pull cord and that it sounds like it is on while using it. However, my son is BARELY able to push it in the grass. He still likes it anyway. I think it is a piece of junk! It looks cheap. It's a LAWN MOWER...I really don't like that is doesn't work well in the grass.

                          Motors ran for 2 months than they started to shut off after just 3 seconds,Returned to store tried several others none would stay on.Grandsons love them but want them to run...We have 2 new ones(in box)they will not keep running either-Sounds like mfg problem.

                          I actually have to go out and buy another mower. We had a sudden five minute downpour the other day and the mower was left outside. My son is sad that it doesn't make noise any longer, so Friday we're getting a new one. He loves mowing the lawn with his Home Depot Goggles.
