Product Description

CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.

The stack 'em high, serve 'em up, relay-race game! Order up! It's a busy day at the diner, so don't dilly-dally. Help your customers get just what they ordered by racing the other servers to the grill "relay style" and piling up pancakes in precisely the right order. The first player (or team) to find 'em, stack 'em, and serve 'em up topped with a pat of butter, wins the game! Grades Pre-K and up/Ages 4 and up. SMALL PARTS. Not for under 3 yrs.

The nitty-gritty:
10 Pancakes in 5 different flavors: blueberry, strawberry, banana, chocolate chip, and plain
2 Pats of butter
2 Plates
2 Spatulas
10 Order cards
Griddle game board (inside box bottom)
Guide<

How to Play:
1. Turn over an order card and call "Order up!"
2. Players scramble to find the first pancake shown on the order card.
3. Players race to their plates, pancakes on spatulas, to stack the pancakes. Then they run back, handing the spatula to the next player "relay-race style".
4. The race continues until one player or team correctly completes the stack of pancakes and tops it with a pat of butter to win!

Stack 'em high and serve 'em up! Kids can go solo or work as a team relay-style to pile up the pancakes in precisely the right order - just the way their customers want. Gross motor skills get a workout as the pancakes are shoveled onto spatulas and kids relay back and forth to stack them. Visual attention and organization are key ingredients to this game as children follow directions to complete the order. The first player or team to stack the order correctly and serve the pancakes topped with a pat of butter wins!

I received this as a review item. All views are my own.

I had been looking at games that both boys could play together. They are at different stages which makes it hard. I also need to make sure it was for two or more players. The twin next door are over alot and I need to make sure they are able to play too.

When I got asked to review this super cute game little did I know it would be a huge hit on our street. Pancake pile up is such a fun cute game. It is a mix of matching, following directions, and teamwork.

Made for two or more players make sure it is an even number. What I love about this game in a mom point of view is it gets them up moving and worn out. This can even be use with larger group of kids.

I bought it outside got the kids together. It was a blast. It is the one game they all can play. I bring it out right before bed to get the kids worn out and ready for bed. Pancake pile up is a relay race to match your stack to the pic.

No reading necessary for this game. Easy to play game thats a ton of fun. Now if you are worried they will grow out of it here are some tips. lay out an obstacle course making harder to keep the pancakes on your spatchula. As your child grows make the distance longer.

This game is one you can really add to for even more fun. I also love that the box is used as part of the game. Unlike most kids games the parts are well made and will last for years. I was really surprised with this game.

I recommend this game for all families and ages. You will have the kids on your street begging to come play.

My 6 year old daughter was excited about playing with this toy as instructed, as a game. My 3 year old daughter wanted to use the pancakes as part of stash of pretend food. My 1 year old son wanted to take the cards, eat them, and scatter them all over the place. It's a great toy to play as intended for relay races if kids are old enough to be interested in playing with it that way. Otherwise, it's a also is good for pretend play, which is how our set is now used. My 3 year old asks everyone what kind of pancake they would like, then cooks it up in her pretend kitchen, and serves it to us.

My three-year old enjoys playing with this toy. We do not do the relay game just play against each other. It teaches how to do pattern so I like that while he has fun he's learning too!

Comments about Educational Insights Pancake Pile-Up Up Relay Game:

My 4 and 5-year olds really love this game. They already spend a lot of time playing kitchen and restaurant and this is a super fun spin on those things! Also, it is a great game for rainy or cold days inside the house because it gets them moving and expending some of their energy. Another thing I like about it is you can adjust how you play depending on the number of players and their ages - it can be a fun game for a group or just two kids, and just stacking the pancakes without following the menu is pretty fun for my 4-year old!

I am a speech language pathologist and this game was a big hit with my preschool thru 2nd graders. I used it to work on following instructions and sequencing, AND as a reward game. The kids loved it and ask to play it. For the 2nd graders we worked on visual memory to make it little bit more challenging.

Comments about Educational Insights Pancake Pile-Up Up Relay Game:

This is Mom of 3. A week later, I've now taken the time to show my 3 year old how to play the game while the other 2 kids were out, and she LOVES playing it as intended. She even likes racing across the room with the pancakes on the spatula (she uses her other hand to keep it in place) and putting them in order, then serving the order up to her pretend customers. It has now replaced Candyland as her favorite game and she is asking to play with it everyday. My 6 year old still likes, it, too. My 1 year old tries to eat the pancakes. Overall, it's a great game for the family.

Comments about Educational Insights Pancake Pile-Up Up Relay Game:

Wonderful and so engaging. My daughter has been bugging us for games for her age. We have had some difficulty finding some that we think would be best for her, but this was perfect. She has some other little games gifted to her but none that keep her mind going like this one does. She has to see a pattern and then repeat instead of just grabbing whatever she wants which keeps her and even us engaged. It really is fun for all of us and great for a game night . It also helps her with her cordination which, as a 3 year old, is always helpful. Extremely happy with this toy and would definitely recommend it to friends and family with younger children.

Such a cute and fun toy! Very visually appealing. Definitely for kids with good motor control. 4-years old is the youngest you could really go with this toy. I had a 3 1/2 and a 5-year old play, and the younger one had a hard time keeping the pancakes on the spatula during the relay. It's plastic on plastic, which makes it hard to keep the pancakes on the spatula, but that's the whole point of the relay really. Any sort of rubber gripping would make the game too easy. Adorable and can't wait to have it out for a playdate!

This game was so fun for my five year old son to play with us. It was fast paced and had us up and moving. Our daughter (almost 2) enjoyed "playing" as well. Pancake Pile Up will quickly become a family favorite!
Pancake Pile Up can be played with 2 -12 players. It would be very fun to play this game with a larger group of kids - maybe at a birthday party. The game pieces are study and durable.
