Product Description

It's a preschool version of the world's beloved UNO game! In UNO MOO!, farm animals come out of their barn to play with you! Akin to the classic game, younger players round up the animals by matching their colors or types. To start, place all of the figures in the barn and mix them up. Each player then hides their figures behind a haystack and out of view of the other players. Players draw five figures from among the cows, pigs, skunks, chickens, dogs, sheep or farmers. The youngest person goes first. When a child plays a figure, they push the figure already on the barn door into the barn and then replace it with their own. The figure played will be the figure the next player tries to match. If a player does not have a matching figure or a farmer that can be played, they must draw one figure from the barn. If the figure they draw matches the color or animal on the barn door, or is a farmer, they may immediately play it. Otherwise, their turn ends. When a player is down to one figure, they shout "UNO Mooooooo!" The first one to get all of their figures back into the barn wins! Includes 1 play-and-store barn, 28 animal and farmer figures and 4 haystack partitions. For 2 to 4 players. Ages 3 and older.

Get all your farm friends back in the barn by matching their colors or smiling faces! The first player to get all of his or her figures back in the barn wins. A good introduction to reciprocal game play, UNO Moo! helps kids learn how to take turns and reinforces social behavior as players learn to become gracious winners and losers. In addition, children can practice matching and color recognition skills as they discover similarities and differences in the faces and body colors of the animals. Includes 28 figures and barn.

This game is very fun for my 3 year old. My 1 year old always wants to play too. I like that the pieces are large enough I don't really worry about him choking on them , but I don't encourage him to put them in his mouth either. The game comes in a cute barn box with a handle. It has sheep, chicken, pig, cow, skunk (skip), and farmer (wild). The pieces are green, yellow, blue, red, and white (wild). I like that this game encourages matching, sorting, fine motor, counting, and taking turns. I think the animals are fun and cute, but I do think that 3 year-olds should already know their animals and be learning the regular UNO numbers as well. I do wish the faces were painted on or etched instead of stickers so they would last longer and be sanitized regularly. Overall, UNO Moo! is a very fun game!

My grandson and I were very excited to play Uno Moo as our family all plays Uno and this would include him. He excitedly opened the package, I read the instructions which were a bit confusing, then we played a few games. The youngest player goes 1st. They take 5 pieces from inside the 'Uno Moo Barn,' then the other players do as well. A character is chosen randomly out of the Barn which is placed up in the Loft. The next player has to match whatever animal/color which is in the loft or use the Farmer (if they have him in the 5 player pieces) to change the animal or the color. His interest lasted about 3 games, which do not take very long. The concept is darling as he enjoyed knocking the 'animals' into the barn and loved to get 'the Skunk' which causes the opponent(s) turn to be skipped. We played it a couple more times throughout the day, but the games did not hold his attention long. Considering he enjoys putting together puzzles, matching games, etc it was surprising he was not interested in Uno Moo.

Fun, imaginative toy and game. The rules are simple to understand and it's an easy game to help them learn to play by the rules. Our 2 and 3 year old just enjoyed playing with the farm animals. We are able to come up with our own games and rules too. Overall a great toy!

      Great night game

Comments about Mattel 1001134 UNO MOO Game:

My 3 year old loves the bright and colorful game pieces. Not only to play with the game but also just to play with the pieces by themselves. Glad that the pieces are made of plastic and not paper-like material, most likely will outlast a tough 3 year old. A good game for little ones to learn colors, animals and taking turns. It takes a little bit of practice to learn the rules of the game but overall fun. Will definitely be a great night game for the little ones.

I love UNO and was excited to try out this version with my kids. My 4.5yr old loves it and asks to play almost every day. She was able to pick up on the rules fairly quickly. My almost 2 year old plays along with help and likes to play with the barn and animal figures when we aren't playing the game. We are using the figures to practice animals and colors with him. So far the barn and animals are holding up great to everything the kids put them through. We would definitely recommend this game for a fun family game night!

We were so excited to receive this Uno Moo preeschool game. The kids love the barn and the chunky pieces. Such fun bright colors. We played with a 4 & 6 year old. Since Uno is a favorite card game with our older kids, we assumed the younger ones would love this version. It took a few rounds to grasp the rules, but then they had fun playing. My only concern is the locking clasp on the barn.. seems like it may break rather quickly with clumsy preschool hands, but so far-so good! Time will tell how it fairs at this house.

My daughter wanted to start playing this game a soon as she saw the farmhouse container. While playing she practiced matching colors and animals and even had to use her critical thinking skills (at 3 years old!) at certain times. It was easy to help her when she needed it and will eventually, with practice, get better on her own. Great game that's easy to transport!

My kids (2 and 3) enjoy playing this game. It has been a good learning experience in teaching them rules about playing the games, taking turns etc. I was a little worried at first because they can see the colors/animals etc when drawing from the barn, but it has been a good teaching point having them close their eyes and try to count them when they "draw." We have had a few issues when pieces were being thrown but the kids learned if they lost the pieces they didn't get to play.
