Product Description

2 players compete in this game to help the chicken save her eggs! The farmer has collected the eggs and is ready to cook them. Players wear a plastic chicken beak, and attach a magnetic chicken clamp to their pants. Both players compete at the same time and, without using hands, remove the eggs one-by-one from the frying pan and transport them to the safety of the nest. If an egg falls and breaks, the player must start over. The player that collects the most 'unbroken' eggs in their nest the WINNER.

I bought this game for my preschool class. It is one of the most hilarious games we have played. It was hysterical watching the children clucking like a chicken and trying to get their eggs attached to the magnet. This is a great way to teach children balance, coordination, listening/directional skills, and team play. The only adjustment I had to make was the length of the magnet string for the shorter children, but they had a blast with this game.
This would also be a ton of fun to play with adults.

I thought the concept of this game looked great from the packaging. I was excited to give the kids an active game that would be a group experience. Upon assembling the game we found that the eggs were a little more challenging to keep together than expected and he plastic roll up yolks are sort of a waste of time . The magnetic clips work OK but you definitely have to improvise for people of different sizes. The real challenge with the game is getting the eggs off of the magnetic chicken. The "nest" is not heavy enough to stay in its place why you use it to help remove the egg.

Good family fun

Comments about Fotorama Lay It or Break It:

Purchased this as a gift for a family friend turning 5. He played it with my son for one round and then his family took the game over. Each one of us had a good laugh trying to pick up the eggs (need good leg muscles to squat). It takes a little time rolling the egg yolks up and back into the shells, adults and older kids can handle this part. If you enjoy interactive family time games this is a fun/silly one to try.

fun game

Comments about Fotorama Lay It or Break It:

Fun game playing with the kids but it takes awhile to put cracked eggs back together in between games. The littler kids had more difficulty trying to keep the yolk in the egg while trying to match up the right halves. Also, you need to create your own nest so the eggs won't roll all over the place. This could have used a little more thought in its creation.

Comments about Fotorama Lay It or Break It:

I definitely feel that the game is hard for some 5/6 years old to understand coordination of how to pick up eggs. I do however think the concept is fun for 5/6 years olds. Just have patience explaining how to pick up eggs and give grace with meltdowns if they can't execute it. Overall, cute game and lots of fun after going through the "learning" stage of it!

Comments about Fotorama Lay It or Break It:

I bought this for my daughter that way we could find ways to pass time doing fun and safe activities since she was recently diagnosed with ITP and has to be very careful and participate in low impact play. I thought it would be an easy game for my very smart three year old, and the concept is and she gets it but it takes a lot of tries and more time playing the game than I thought it would and it lost her interest easily.

This is a cute and fun 2 person game. 2 eggs were defective and didn't close all the way so that was disappointing but overall the kids enjoy the game.
