I can best sum up this carseat with "I wish I hadn't!". It's extremely heavy, the foam broke with regular use, the headrest padding came apart at the seems. I bought it because of the frame and the rear facing weight. I was able to keep my very tall daughter rear facing until she was two but I basically had to fold her in half to get her in it. Poor kid bumped her head more than once and I have a large mini van. Do not buy this carseat for a small car. It won't fit and the 5 point harness belts are ALWAYS twisting.

Comments about Safety 1st Complete Air 65 Convertible Car Seat - Corabelle:

I have had my son in this seat since about 8 months, he is now 3. We had complained about the seat being difficult to take apart and clean (but not impossible). We had also complained because the cup holder was lost long ago because it simply slipped to the side of the seat. This weekend my husband was at a complete stop in construction traffic and was rear ended at an estimated 60 mph. Our fullsize Silverado was pushed into a ditch back across the highway into the median and hit another car in front of us. The tool box in the back of truck came through the back window from the impact. My son slept through the entire ordeal. When we went to the truck and looked at the car seat didn't move. My son has barley has bruising from the chest clip. That seat was amazing and we are buying the exact same one to replace it. How clean the cover is or where the cup holder is doesn't matter anymore.

Seriously...you can't wash the cover without taking the whole thing apart which compromises the integrity of the seat. YOU CAN'T WASH IT. Stop now. Buy something with a washable cover. These are CHILDREN we're talking about.
    You're welcome.

We bought this when our daughter outgrew her infant seat. We have been in using it ever since. She is now 4. We have loved how easy it is to use. As well as how comfy she is in it. Well worth the money. The only con is the cup holder comes off pretty easy. I would like a built in one.

These seats helped save my babies.

              By Kris

              from Texas

Comments about Safety 1st Complete Air 65 Convertible Car Seat - Corabelle:

I am currently looking to purchase two more of these seats. Today, my four daughters and I were in a collision with an 18-wheeler. God watching, all five of us exited our Chevy Suburban completely unscathed, minus I few cuts and scrapes squired by myself. Are these seats a COMPLETE pain to fasten into the car? Yes. But I will go through that pain with absolutely no problem, to know that these seats stayed in place, and kept my most valuable possessions safe, today, after four years of use. Nothing can compare to being put to the test; and while I pray they never have to do so again, today, they helped save my little girls. I will be purchasing two more, without hesitation.
