The Levana Shiloh is the second monitor I've ever owned, the first being a Levana Lila. The Lila is very basic, but it had all that I needed in a baby monitor. I've been using it for about three years, and although there were a few minor hiccups, I've overall been pleased with my experience. Upgrading to the Shiloh has been a real treat, not that I didn't like the Lila, but this definitely has a few more bells and whistles. Right off the bat I will mention that the camera doesn't have a pan or zoom. A pan feature would be nice now that my son is getting older, but it isn't' necessarily a deal breaker for me. I do have to note that the Shiloh monitor does have a button that allows you to zoom in once, but the screen does get very pixilated when doing this. Like the Lila, the Shiloh has the microphone intercom where you can talk through the monitor and it comes out of the camera's speaker. I use this a lot, so it's nice to see it added to a newer model. The volume has several settings to make it louder or turn it completely off. The loudest setting is pretty high, so that's good. The volume gauge on the monitor is nice for when you lower it. It'll actually light up, so you can still see if there is sound coming from your baby's room. There is a signal gauge to see how well the transmission is coming in from the camera to the monitor. So far, I have had no issues with low signals or interference. The Lila would sometimes interfere with my wireless signal, but it was very sporadic and didn't happen often. So far nothing like that has happened with the Shiloh. The monitor is really nice ("fancy" as I like to say when compared to our older camera). The screen is larger and the picture view comes in way more clearer than the one on my old Levana camera. I can actually see more detail on the screen and also noticed that the overall view is closer than the what my older camera showed. A few other added features that the Shiloh has, that my Lila didn't: â€"It actually shows the temperature. I love this feature, because I live in NY and the temps change drastically from one day to the next. â€"It also shows the time, as well as AM or PM. A nice addition that wasn't on my Lila monitor. â€"I really like the USB charging. When my little one is napping and I'm doing work on the computer, I can just plus it right into my laptop to charge. â€"There is a feeding and naptime timer that can be set. I don't necessarily use this feature, but it's a neat one that's definitely worth mentioning. â€"The clip stand for the Shiloh monitor is a VAST improvement than the one my Lila had (other Lila owners out there can probably back me up on this). I went through about four monitor clip replacements, because they kept breaking for no reason other then they were cheap, flimsy plastic. The one lady in customer service is wonderful to work with. She would send me a replacement under warranty each time. The only problem is that it kept happening even after the warranty ended and we were stuck without a clip. The new Shiloh clip is metal (not cheap plastic) with a rubber bottom so it doesn't slip on surfaces. It's also adjustable depending how you prefer the monitor to sit. I am thinking this one will survive much longer than my older monitor clip. I only use this with one monitor, so I can't judge how well it does with multiple connections on the screen. I do wish there was a way to use my old Lila camera with this, so I could set one up in a second. It would have been nice to have the cameras on the older models interchangeable with the newer ones. The battery life is great, but only time will tell, because it's still new. So far so good with this monitor. It's definitely a luxurious upgrade from our previous Levana, and I'm extremely pleased with it!

I used the older levana model with my first 2 kids and then purchased this one so that I can pair all the kids rooms onto one monitor. There are definitely good things about this product but for the amount I spent I feel like there are things that could be better. First the video is supposed to be HD and I find mine grainy and poorer quality than the original one I had. Secondly I thought it came with 2 cameras based on the price ('my fault for not checking). Third, since I thought it came with 2 cameras I am still using my old one for the one bedroom. If I have the 2 monitors side by side the new one cuts out and says "can't find signal". Fourth, the 500m range is subject to anything being in the way of said 500m. Lastly it would be nice to be able to use my original cameras with this new one rather than have to purchase new ones.

      Comments about Levana® Shiloh™ 5inch HD Touchscreen Video Baby Monitor - 32200:

The monitor is better than most but to call it "HD" is a stretch. The touch screen doesn't work that well. You touch one side of the screen but it selects something from the other side. It can be time consuming to change settings. The stationary camera can be difficult to set when it comes to the vertical field of vision because it only rotates side-to-side. The only thing I like about it is the "peep" mode, but the other less expensive Levanas have this feature. This is the fourth monitor we've purchased (2nd Levana)... Haven't found one that doesn't have issues. Levana is still probably the best though. To not be frustrated you'll have to spend $$$ on the more expensive models.

      Comments about Levana® Shiloh™ 5inch HD Touchscreen Video Baby Monitor - 32200:

We bought this monitor in a hurry after our old one (a Samsung) died. I'm so glad we did! I love the picture quality and the size of the screen. I can literally watch my daughter breathe. There are a lot of features we don't use, but the life saver for me, as a light sleeper, is the sleep mode. You can put the monitor completely to sleep (both audio and video) and it will turn itself back on if it picks up any noise. The only thing that would make this monitor even better is if the camera it came with had the pan/tilt/zoom features. You can buy the camera that does and sync it up though, so its possible, just an added expense.

Great monitor. Far better than others

      By Luis

      Comments about Levana® Shiloh™ 5inch HD Touchscreen Video Baby Monitor - 32200:

Treasure. The monitor is very easy to use. I have two cameras and can hear clearly. It does a great job placing itself on stand by when nothing is happening. This avoids trying to sleep through the annoying white noise of a monitor. It's screen is very good with a decent zoom. Battery life is AMAZING. The battery will last days before needing to charge. Only gripe is that it looses signal from one of the cameras for a few seconds. This happens once in a while and it's annoying because it comes on and you hear the white noise. This is usually frustrating at night as it causes false alarms.

We received this as a gift and so far it's amazing. The signal is perfect in every corner of our house with absolutely no issues. The microphone is a really neat feature as well. The night vision is as good if not better than any other comparable monitor out there. I am very impressed so far and hope it will continue to be great.

      So far, so good

      Comments about Levana® Shiloh™ 5inch HD Touchscreen Video Baby Monitor - 32200:

My main concern when choosing a video monitor was night vision. Although my baby has not yet arrived, I have tested this in her room, pointed at the crib and i do get a clear picture. The set up was incredibly easy, the two devices were already paired to each other. The lullaby feature either does not work, is not included on this model or i just haven't figured it out yet :-). Other than that, no real complaints just yet :-)
