This telescope came quickly and was packaged perfectly. Assembly was a breeze (literally 2 minutes). My 3 boys (ages 4-7) have been fighting over this since the day we took it out of the box. They LOVE it... and I love it because it has sparked a lot of educational conversations and it allows them to use their imagination. I was initially worries that it would break because my kids are so rough with their toys.. but, nope. 6 weeks and it hasn't budged. Great quality. The colors are bold and inviting and go well in their playroom. We love this... and would highly recommend purchasing. Five stars!!

Needs a little adjustment

My 4 year old son was very excited about this toy. But When we looked through the "goggles" there was a blue line that kept interfering with us seeing things in the distance.

Comments about Educational Insights GeoSafari Junior My First Telescope:

My toddler was so excited to open up his the My First Telescope to look at the Super Moon this week. It was easy to put together and really easy to use. He was able to start looking through it right away. My only complaint is that the eyepiece falls off rather easily, but it snaps together again in no time. This telescope is very basic and perfect for any young child just starting to take an interest in looking at the night sky. My toddler carries it around the house and tries to look at everything. Its easy to point and find anything you are looking for. There is no adjuster to fix the clarity of vision, but, like I said, perfect for a young learner.

Comments about Educational Insights GeoSafari Junior My First Telescope:

As an entry level telescope, this product is great and has sparked lots of curiosity about outer space. Both my 2 and 4 year old boys love to play and use it. It does not have a lot of options but we can see the moon great. I echo what other reviewers have said, this is a budget friendly and easy to use telescope. Great entry level exploration. If you are looking to see more stars and planet, perhaps consider a more expensive and more complex telescope. This model is durable and able to handle some tough pretend play. It is easy to put together and store as well. After receiving it several weeks ago, it is still a big hit in our house. We received this item as a gift.

This is a great first telescope. The simplicity of use and being able to use both eyes to view was great. Now that it is getting dark earlier, hopefully we'll get outside to check out the stars more. My 5 year old likes to use it to check out birds too.

Comments about Educational Insights GeoSafari Junior My First Telescope:

After watching my kids have so much fun checking out the night sky I would for sure recommend this to anyone with kids. I didn't think my 8 yr old would like it as much as he did. They thoroughly enjoyed looking at the stars and using my star gazer app on my phone discovery which each star was. It's definitely not a high grade telescope but it's a good starting out point to see if it's worth splurging for a big one

This little telescope is not only easy for kiddos to use but very functional. We started looking around the house and moved outside to investigate more. We now bring it out at night on the deck to study the stars with our 3 1/2 year old. It is very easy for her to use almost independently. We love it!

We used it many places - at the coast to observe whales, birds and other animal life, in our backyard, and even sporting events. All three boys thoroughly enjoyed using the telescope and watching all the action up close.

We got it knowing that it is not a high tech telescope, but something easy and affordable for the kids to use. It is very user friendly for their ages! It is well put together and durable! I would recommend this product for parents of young children! My kids ask every night can we look at the moon and stars again daddy!
