Fashionistas Come in All Shapes & Sizes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a Barbie Fashionistas doll #188. This doll has all the style and quality we have come to know from Mattel's Barbie line. This doll utilizes the Barbie Curvy body type and comes with a very fashionable purple dress, a "LOVE" necklace and pink shoes. Honestly, while my six-year old thought the necklace was way cool, it was very difficult to stay on during play. It must be this particluar necklace mold, as we have not had this issue with other Barbie necklaces. Otherwise, this doll is a winner and quickly became a new regular during my child's playtime. With its wide variety to chose from, the Fashionistas line is a definite favorite in my household! The zip up package is also great to house Barbie dolls and accessories securely when traveling.

Looks like Mom
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that Barbie is keeping up with the trends (she has fuller eyebrows) and also portraying a large variety of looks. I chose this one for my daughter because it looked similar to me. They are no longer super skinny, but more shapely. My only concern is getting additional clothes that will fit her larger hips/thighs. The dress she came with is super cute and good quality. The necklace does not stay on once the plastic tie was removed. The new packaging was really cool. She came in a plastic zipper pouch that can be reused for storage.

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this Barbie doll. She moves well (arms, legs and head). Hair is silky and easy to style and braid. Clothes and shoes are nice design and quality, along with the "Love" necklace that she wears. Clothes are easy to remove and redress. Since this Barbie does have a more shapely body, some of the other Barbie clothes did not fit the doll. But this did not deter playtime as the kids started designing new outfits and making things work for this Barbie. She was a welcome addition to the Barbie doll squad.

Looks great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is great to see Barbie exploring the different body shapes that people come in and implementing them on their brand, specifically one with wider hips, which looks more like momma. Additionally my daughter has throughly enjoyed playing with this Barbie Fashionista doll. She can be a little rough when she is playing, but the craftsmanship has held up extremely well and the doll still looks great!

Pretty, but...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, let's talk about this Barbie. I was completely surprised to see a more realistic body type doll. This is what my girls thought of her.
1. They said she reminds them of a grandma doll (Their grandma is a fuller figure woman)
2. They liked how she looked different.
Now the one thing they did complain about is that all their Barbie clothes they have would not fit on her. Other than that they were happy with her and thought she was pretty!!

Awesome barbie that my kids loved!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This barbie is great! My twins are three and love barbies in general and this one definitely didn’t disappoint! I also like that she is bigger in the hip/stomach area and thighs than most barbies to let kids know that all body types are beautiful, and just because you dont look exactly like someone else doesnt mean you arent just as pretty! My girls played for hours with this barbie! Way to go mattel!

Chic and fashion forward Barbie gal!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doll came about 2 weeks ago but I just opened her now and upon seeing her my eyes lit up! She is very pretty and elegant. She has long hair, medium skin and is curvy which I love! Her dress, shoes and necklace are very chic and fashionable. I like that she can stand on her own if her feet are spread apart. I honestly don’t have any dislikes about her, she is just a very beautiful and fun doll!

Stylish, like the necklace, love the packaging
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great looking Barbie. It’s very stylish, love the dress and patterns. The pink necklace is also nice. Not too many accessories, but still looks nice. I also like this type of packaging, it’s a reusable case. Unlike the old school blíster packaging. my daughters like to reuse the bag to put the Barbie’s away when they are not playing with them.
