For the pool noodle crawl, place two wooden dowels into the ground for each pool noodle. Arch the pool noodle and plug each end into a dowel.

The hoola hoop hole-in-one is a breeze! Just take some string and make a looped knot at one end. Toss this over a branch and feed the rest of the string through the loop. Pull tight to secure the string to the tree, then tie the other end into a knot around a hoola hoop.

We placed our cones in a straight line, but you can zig-zag them or place them to suit all kinds of difficulties. The object of this challenge is to test their balancing skills with the NERF Sports Tennis Set. Have them hold a racquet with a tennis ball and weave in and out of the cones.

Play Tip: Wanna make it even more difficult? Have ’em bounce the ball with the racquet as they go.

On a table, build a tower out of cups then place a vortex howler in front of it. Chances are you won’t have to explain this challenge to them—once they’re in the heat of the obstacle course, they’ll know exactly what to do!

You can double some challenges or explore your home for even more mighty tests to include in your obstacle course. We’d love to see what you create!
