Rated 2 out of 5 by from Phone cord to short I brought this for our granddaughter because our children liked the phone. But every time she plays with it she can’t put it to her ear without picking up the phone. Wish I had read the reviews first.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cord for receiver is too short... Nice to have an old-fashioned phone to explain to child one day and he loves the rotary dial. The only negative aspect is that when you pick up the phone, the cord is too short to hold to ear without bending/leaning over.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Design My daughter has had this toy for over a year and a half. Thought it was a nostalgic toy, but the receiver cord is short as well as pull string. I had one when I was younger, but this redesign falls short

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor toy design Toy was purchased for grandson the rope that holds the phone receiver to the phone body is about 4” long REALLY play toy he can not answer Horrible Chinese design Fisher Price should be ashamed Apparently this has been a consistent complaint for a few years and Fisher Price is not willing to address it. This will be returned tomorrow for something else. Very disappointed

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nostalgic toy! I thought this was a fun, nostalgic toy. My son loves the sound it makes when the wheels move. He likes to drive it like a car. The phone helps encourage imaginative play. The dial also helps with fine motor skills. The string was a bit annoying, so we easily removed it. Otherwise a really great toy that we would recommend!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Play phone I bought thinking the cord would be longer. But, it wasn’t. My toddler loves the phone but can’t really talk on it due to being so short of a cord.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could be really fun I brought this item today for my baby. LO loves playing with phones and I remember having one as a child. The only issue I see is the short cord. If baby wants to put the receiver to ear the base dangles. If I knew it was that short I would have just purchased a real phone for baby to play with.
