Fisher-Price Double Poppin' Dino
Fisher-Price Double Poppin' Dino
Sold and shipped by or fulfilled through Amazon.com
Just spin the roller to bring this Double Poppin' Dino to life with silly sounds, fun music and 2 levels of ball-popping action. The excitement of this ball popper infant toy gets a-rollin? and a-poppin? when your baby drops the balls through the dinosaur?s back, tail or belly. The 6 colorful balls bounce up, down and all around, making fun sounds and tunes as they go. But where they?ll pop up, nobody knows! Your baby will love crawling and chasing after the balls that pop out of the mouth, tail or belly - and doing it over & over (& over) again!
Rated 1 out of 5 by Angry father from Doesn’t work at all. We gave my son one of these for Christmas and it was a huge disappointment. He has the blue popping Dino at his grandparents and we thought he would like this one. However, it doesn’t do anything it’s supposed to. The balls are supposed to go down the tail and pop out of the mouth. Instead, they just sling the balls everywhere. Same thing happens on the bottom. It doesn’t spit them out of the Dino’s mouth, it just shoots them out the side. There is no enjoyment out of playing with this toy. We’re out the money, and can’t return it to the store because it’s out of the box and the box has since been thrown away. Do not buy this product. We may not by a fisher price product again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BensMomB from Took my son a while to warm up to this toy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] He wanted to like this toy so much at first. Balls, bright colors, and annoying sounds. His favorites. However he just didn't take to the balls jumping out and rolling away so quickly. Even the 12 year old was having trouble keeping up when he was "helping" him. So we found some heavier balls that we had and starting using them as well. It added some more annoying sounds and that seemed to help the entertainment value. I don't see my son playing with this on his own but with older sister and brothers getting involved he found it fun to watch and play. I am interested to see what he does as get gets older.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MusicLovingMiss from Great features and exciting toy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dino provides great entertainment value for my son (11 months). The balls bounce all around and you don't know where they will end up. There are multiple exits for the balls to take, and its is exciting for my son to watch and guess where they will go next. It does make it hard to contain the toy, and we have lost balls a few times around the house. There are multiple volume levels so they music and noise doesnt get too much. The noise associated with the bouncing aspect can be loud and get old fast. But for more, the enjoyment my son gets is worth it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by PrincessPyxie83 from Loved it until it stopped working We had purchased this for my son for Christmas and within a few weeks, the mechanism that makes the balls pop about broke and now it just makes noise, but won't pop. I took the unit apart once and glued the piece back on, but it wasn't strong enough to keep working and wouldn't reach to make the balls move anymore. I'm really sad because my son loved this toy...for the little time he was actually able to play with it. It has been sitting in a corner collecting dust because I haven't been able to bring myself to throw it away. Total waste of money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Elisabeth from Never could get it to work [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I received this product for free from the play and review program. It arrived in the mail, we put 3 C batteries in, did not work. So we went out and bought new C batteries, still did not work. I called Mattel and told them the issue, they said they would send me a new one, but never have. The dinosaur came with a bunch of little balls that my 10 month old son loves to roll around and bang together. He also likes to turn the dinosaur over and bang it on the floor. So I cannot say how he would like if if it actually worked.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Aj Gibbs from Easily broken 12 month old grabbed the top and it quit "poppin" and has to be fixed every time anything bumped it. Very disappointed. Will be trying to buy something else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by autmwillow from It's ok [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is an ok toy. The balls fly off the top and go everywhere. The motor is really loud, when you turn the sound down all you hear is the motor. My daughter likes it for a few minutes, since the balls don't stay contained at all, once they disappear, she is done with it. It is really low to the ground, so balls really don't come out of the dinos mouth. It was really easy to put together. The only issue I had was that there was a screw that was supposed to attach the face to the body, but the screw hole was too big, so it never attached tightly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SSSSS from His favorite toy! We bought this five months ago for our son who is now 10 months old. It still pops the balls, plays music and he keeps coming back to it again and again. He absolutely loves the popping mechanism, that in itself will entertain him for 10-15 minutes without the balls. Very durable and easily withstands him knocking it over, pushing and pulling it around the house, and using for leverage to situp and push up onto his knees. Colorful, entertaining and has helped develop his fine motor skills and encourages him to crawl around to chase the balls. Would definitely purchase again.
