Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really adorable, but we wish it opened its mouth! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how adorable this T-rex is, and it does balance well because of the chunky feet. We have the small version too, and it matches that very well. However, it seems like the #1 reason a kid gets a T-rex toy might have been overlooked...roaring! What kid doesn't make their toy dinosaur roar and bite? Simply creating the ability for a large toy this size to open its mouth to do T-Rex-type things would have upped the repeat play value immensely, in my opinion. My 5 year old was a little sad that he couldn't open the mouth at all. Again, it's a very cute, non-scary dino toy, but I think it could be better with a hinged mouth or even a mold version with the mouth open already, to create more options for creative dino play. I'd probably recommend the more elaborate Camp Cretaceous T-Rex developed for older kids in place of this one for a young dino enthusiast for that reason.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cretaceous XL Trex Crushes It [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves that this is a giant version of the other imaginext toys. He likes that he can pose his arms and legs. His only complaint is that the mouth doesn't open to bite other toys. The giant gold eyes are a delightfully creepy touch. Definitely would recommend for any dino lover.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved the dino [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loved the dino, the size was great for little hands. I gave four stars because we wished the mouth opened up. It is fun for Super Stomping, and the imaginative side is amazing! We love all the Imaginext Jurrasic World toys, they are of great quality and seem to last a while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun toy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is great for my 2 year old son. He loves to play with it while he roars like a dinosaur. He loves that he can move the arms and legs. The eyes look so real. This is a fun toy that really keeps him busy for a while. His big sister who is almost 6 enjoys it too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for younger kids [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this T. Rex for my five year old who absolutely loves everything dinosaurs. Unfortunately this one fell flat for him. It's a great toy for a dino loving kid who is probably three, maybe four years old. My one recommendation would be for it to make noises.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Who Doesn't Love Jurassic World & Dinosaurs?!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who doesn't love Jurassic World & Dinosaurs? Big(Me) & small kids alike love it all and Fisher-Price obviously agrees, because they've brought us the new Imaginext Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous T-Rex XL! He is large and in charge making it super fun for kids to fantasize and play out some of the best scenes from Jurassic World. The powerful and, some might say, king of the dinosaurs, the T-Rex looks pretty intimidating thanks to the wonderful detail and quality that went into making this beast. His arms, legs and tail are movable for easy posing and stances. This T-Rex is ready to stand in place or go to battle making it lots of fun for the kids to play hours on end! Purchase two of them and have a stand-off like my kids did. His eyes are so realistic that he evens scares me a little. Needless to say, there's endless possibilities when playing with Fisher-Price's new Imaginext Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous T-Rex XL toy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love how big this is! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a fun Trex! My boys love that it is so big and towers over all of their other dinosaurs even the T.rex. It is holding up good and you seems to be very sturdy. They like it so much that we will be buying more of these so they can all have a T.Rex!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice dinosaur [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice durable toy for a dinosaur lover. Great for kids who like to create their own adventures with their toys. It held my five year olds attention pretty well when he used it with other dinosaurs we have, but my seven year old wished it made noise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Little T-Rex [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Imaginext T-Rex is super cute. It is smaller than I thought it was going to be. But it is absolutely the right size for any of your little ones. If they like dinosaurs this is the toy for them. It is not scary looking like some Dino toys are.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for little ones [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys love dinosaurs so this was something that they liked, but didn’t love. The motion was just not enough to keep their interests. The mouth doesn’t open and that was the biggest disappointment. Still great for little ones thou.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking dino [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cool dino. A nice size and a unique look. I wish it could move around a bit more or be more sturdy when standing up or maybe come with accessories but it’s a nice add to my sons dino collection

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Indestructible Dino [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child is really hard on his toys this Dinosaur really holds up. It’s a pretty cool Dino the legs click as you move them into different positions. The only thing I wish is that it made a dinosaur noise.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well Made [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves imaginative play as most 6 year olds do. He was excited to receive the Imaginext Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous T. Rex XL. He couldn't wait to get it out of the packaging! I will say I loved how easily it was to get this toy out of its packaging. I hate toys that make you have to take at least 10 minutes trying to figure out how to get it out. This T Rex was easy to get out and took less than 20 seconds. The figure itself is made of hard plastic and is very sturdy and well made. The arms and legs move, and the tip of the tail moves a little. You have to move them yourself as this isn't an electric toy. My son played with this toy for about 5 minutes pretending to attack his dad, myself, and the dog. After about 5 minutes, he put the toy down and forgot about it. He hasn't asked for it since. Perhaps he may be just a tad too old for it or maybe he needs to be into dinosaurs more. Whatever the case, this just wasn't that fun of a toy for him, but it is very well made! I would probably recommend this dinosaur toy to children between the ages of 2 - 5 who are more into dinosaurs.
