Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing As a Star Wars fan I am delighted to see the Clone Wars get brought into Lego, especially characters that need the limelight. I enjoy seeing Gar Saxon in the mix as well. However, I believe that his plasma shield should have been included rather than giving him just one blaster. While building the ship it was rather difficult when having to use the dark blue parts, I recommend doing this in a bright room to help. With this build I find it amazing that not only does the cockpit move but also the wings giving a diverse dynamic when putting this on my shelf. Over all I enjoyed this set and hope to see more Clone Wars scenes and characters being brought to life in the form of Lego.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fabulous Minifigs and a lackluster ship The Bo Katan and Gar Saxon minifigs are absolutely fabulous and they definitely make up for a lackluster ship that is full of questionable design choices. The ship looks fabulous when I put it on display as evidence by my picture. But it is very wobbly when my daughter plays with it. The landing bricks (or lack thereof) makes it lean awkwardly forward when it is in landing position. Also, the gap between the cockpit window and sides is noticeably wide where you can clearly see the driver's hands. It feels as if it was rushed into production, which doesn't lend well to LEGO's motto of "only the best is good enough".

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solidly built starfighter with some compromises I’ll start by listing a few negatives: there’s a noticeable gap between the transparent canopy and the rest of the cockpit, the minifigures don’t sit securely in the cockpit, and the fighter tilts forward when in its landing position. Of the various problems, the most irritating is the forward tilt; fortunately, it can be fixed with a couple plates on the bottom to serve as “landing gear.” There are several positives to the set: the wings are wonderfully detailed with angled blue plating, the starfighter is very sturdy despite its four rotational joints, wing rotation is smooth in both axes, the build is pretty fun with interesting pieces and techniques, and the Bo-Katan and Gar Saxon minfigures are beautiful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool Lego set [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this cool Lego Mandalorian star fighter set. My kids and I put it together in a few hours. It was very easy to build. Lego always has great instructions. I love how awesome this ship is. My kids love playing with the star fighter and the cool minifigures. The ship looks so much like the one in the Mandalorian show it’s awesome. I love the quality that Lego always puts into its toys and instructions. We will be purchasing all the Mandalorian sets . Thank you Lego.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much fun [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I get Legos for my Grandson who is 11years old. We started him at 3years old and he still loves them. I like how intrigued he is when he gets a new and more difficult one. He loved putting this one together and we agree with him that Lego's are the best gift ever. This Lego set is superior and sure to please.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty tricky for a casual build This starfighter LOOKS amazing, the transformability works great and the mini-figs are wonderful across the board. Unfortunately, the build was pretty tricky due to the dark blue on dark blue piece coloration which made it hard to see where some of the smaller pieces (like flat 2x1 pieces) went. I wound up multiple times having to look back through the instructions to figure out what I’d missed. As for the display, the landed position looks really cool, but I do wish there was a way to better display in flight formation (displayed in pic). Maybe I’ll hang it up or something. For now, landed it is. I also have had some difficulty with the intensity of play - if one of my kiddos plays with it the prongs on the fuselage do not stay well connected. I’m not exactly sure why this is, but I have to work to make sure they can keep the action going.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Set! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved putting this Starfighter set together! The instructions are very clear which I appreciated because I am not a LEGO pro. It was challenging enough to be fun and not frustrating. I also am impressed by its size. It was bigger than I expected it to be and looks amazing in my collection! I stays together great as well without falling apart. Definitely recommended!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome figures, ship is lacking. Great minifigs! You just can’t go wrong with Mandalorian figures and good paint jobs. The assortment is excellent and Gar Saxon is a nice bonus. One of the best figure selections in a set so far this year. On the other hand, the ship is a serious let-down. It really doesn’t even compare to the last one in terms of the build and functions. It’s smaller(even with a larger piece count), no landing gear(seriously), it sits terribly uneven as it uses blocks for failed attempts at landing gear, there is a large gap where the canopy closes, and it doesn’t have that cool compartment in back to haul my figs gear around. Side by side, the old one wins hands-down no contest. Lego please; we want authentically detailed sets that include proper landing gear with a consistent minifigure scale we can use with our other sets. Less is not best.
