Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Functionality Great smaller set to kill time that my 3 year old who is a crane fanatic cannot leave it alone. Boom detail and functionality is great, however undercarriage feel as though it is lacking. Also scale between boom and undercarriage feels off when set is retracted in travel position. For those that note that the boom cannot rotate without hitting the outriggers. There is a catch, the base of the boom pivots at the slew. This needs to be adjusted forward in order to prevent fouling during boom rotation. (See picture) Will say it is a great array of parts for future MOCS and for the price I believe it represents value for money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent set This set is quite large when fully unfolded and extended and has a lot of functions for play value. Also, it folds up very neatly, which means it is easy to store if space is an issue. Overall, the set is good value for money, as you get a lot oof pieces for the price and would recommend to fans of construction equipment and Lego in general.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Technic Compact Crawler Crane A clever design, however functionality is lacking. Gears that control the Stabilizer legs are loosely mounted, and the legs have slack movement in them. Also there is very little pressure on the legs when fully extended. Most disappointing is the boom which must be adjusted to a very limited height range in order to rotate 180 degrees. Otherwise the stabilizer legs interfere and prevent rotation of the boom. I am quite disappointed with this set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact Crawler Crane This was a good build and I enjoyed all of it. I was impressed by the functionality of the crane. It certainly kept my attention throughout.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun I love cranes, i thought it would be more difficult. Like others mentioned, the legs are sort of blah. The boom works well, not i will build the tower crane. Over all, it looks very nice, i had several extra pieces, maybe i'll use them all on the tower crane option (?).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Compact Crawler Crane Been a Lego collector over 45 years. Disappointed in this set to say the least. Not realistic like other sets. This one will go into the parts bin. As compared to other lego cranes, this model falls shirt of expectation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Outriggers are awkward to operate easily Superstructure rotation drags when trying to rotate Not sure why the superstructure has the "slide" / swivel function...guess it's supposed to be a stow / use function - seems it would be better to make the rotation operation stronger. Probably going into the parts bin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it I just loved it. It was a fun creation. I bought some light for it and routed them through the build so it lights up. It is on display in my house!!
