First Technic Build - Impressed
The Batmobile was my first Technic build after numerous more traditional Lego sets. It was a moderate challenge in that the directions were far more detailed than normal Lego sets. I made a couple of mistakes that cost me some time to correct. At times the instruction book was unclear - especially when displaying steps on the other side of the Batmobile.
The completed model is a joy to behold. The light-bricks invoke an appropriately dark Batman vibe. The overall vehicle has a presence that is hard to describe --- I am glad to have purchased this and am tempted to pick up the new BMW motorcycle.

Excellent build!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been building Legos for almost 30 years. This set was one of the most complex, and well detailed, models I’ve built. The lighted pieces add a great touch. As usual with the Technic Series the gearing and engineering that went into the design and building are phenomenal and very accurate. The rear end has a working differential, the wheels coordinate with the moving pistons, and the steer knob on top doubles to light up the engine. Reaching inside the gearshift lights up the front. It’s added touch’s like these that really make these sets. Lego has done a great job keeping up with technology and engineering. I look forward to building not only for myself but passing on to my kids.

Sweet Lego Set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this awesome Lego Batman Batmobile. My son and husband absolutely love this lego set . They spent hours building it together and had the best time. This set was very easy to complete but takes time with all the great realistic details. My family absolutely loves Batman so this Lego set was perfect for us. I love the quality that Lego always puts into every part of their products from the directions to the quality of the pieces. This set looks amazing on the shelf in our living room. I will be purchasing more of these new Batman legos when I see them in-store. Thank you

Where was this when i was a kid?!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the title states, where was this when I was a kid! This Lego Batman Batmobile is by far the coolest lego set I have ever put together. The whole family piched in to help assemble this and was a real fun time. My son and I especially enjoyed the small intricacies featured with this kit, like the differential on the back end or how the steering wheel actually moves the wheels through a gear box! Lego out-did themself with this and the directions were super easy to follow with everything being individually bagged. We cant wait to get the next big lego build!

"Ah!! AHAHA!! I got chu!! I got CHU!!!"
Had a good time building this. I ran into a snag with the rear quarter panels and fender assembly from bag six. I don't know if anyone else did. I had to start over once and just look over the steps again. You really have to put some elbow grease into pushing the tabs into the correct areas to make the quarter panels and fenders solid onto the car. Pay attention when you line up the pieces with arrows...I wish there was a way to turn the picture 360 to get a better view of where those particular big parts that are assembled, go (with the iPad-be able to turn the picture on the screen and get a better angle) Some of the pictures, I was putting the piece on blind. That was the only issue I had. Other than that, it was fun to build.

Fun build but eyesore
I do love the way this looks and enjoyed building it, the cool mechanics of the engine are awesome but it's defiantly a strange car, I just don't think it looks or great as a technic build and would have probably looked better as a creator car like other Batman vehicles. It is presentable but uncomfortable up close. Overall technic builds are fun to build but this is only for bat man fans.
