Details

Product Description The Little Tikes Shopping Cart is made expressly for pint-size shoppers. Durable and colorful, this modern cart has sturdy walls to keep smaller items inside the deep basket. Fold down the seat to let a favorite toy or doll come along for the ride; the simple-to-push cart also features storage space under the basket and easy-rolling wheels. All items sold separately. Made in USA. 23Hx12-1/2Wx16-1/2D". Amazon.com Shopping for groceries with Mommy will seem more real than ever with this pintsize poultry and produce carrier. Though only about 2 feet high, the red-and-yellow cart is designed to resemble a grownup's cart. It even includes a fold-up space with leg holes near the cart's handle--Mommy usually sits baby there in a real cart--where tots can place a tiny doll. Bright blue plastic wheels add contrast and additional color to this cart, which will last as long as your child's toddler years. --Diane Beall Brand Story By Little Tikes From the Manufacturer Modern shopping cart will help little shoppers mimic trips to the grocery store

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4 years and going strong! Bought product for our son when he was 16 months old (almost 5 years ago!) and it has held up well, I've never had any problems. Basket is sturdy enough to put a 5 month old in. (Not that I would recommend it!) Had to buy another so my twins could each push their own around, was lucky enough to purchase one second hand that had been used outdoors and other than the wheels being a little rougher it's held up well too. Almost six year old loves to zoom around the house, half the time using it as a scooter. Someone wrote this wasn't a good gift for an apartment and I have to totally disagree, ours got lots of use when all five of us lived in a two bedroom apartment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice quality, but tips over alot I was very excited about my daughter getting this cart because she loved the one at our play group. However, there is a design flaw in this one and it has too much of the cart over the front wheel. So, if you fill it up with play food and then put just a little pressure on the front, the whole thing tips over! This is a daily occurance in our home and I worry my kids will get hurt. That said, It is very durable and quite tall so if you need a cart for an older child (3-5) this may be good for you.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from awkward shape, too tall This cart might be nice if my 18 month old was taller. It is too tall for him and hard to push, so he really doesn't play with it. I don't like how it doesn't really resemble an actual shopping card (the yellow part of the design seems weird to me), but maybe that makes it more stable?? My biggest problem is the height though. My son is just under the 50% for height, and it is too tall for him. By a lot it seems. Unless this is really targeted for 3-4 year olds, it seems like they could stand to make the cart shorter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Great when Shopping!! lol My daughter (18 months) loved pushing regular shopping carts at the store but they aren't her size so we decided to buy this shopping cart for her. She absolutely loves this cart! We take it with us to the store so she can do her own shopping. Yes, it's a bit big to lug to the grocery store and back home, but it definitely is worth the joy that she gets from being able to shop with Mom, Dad, and big sisters! The basket is a nice size so if I'm just picking up a few items, I just throw them in her cart!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy and loads of fun! We bought my son this shopping cart a couple of months ago and it's been a great investment! He has been wanting his own to "shop" around the house in. He plays grocery store, pushes his dogs around like it's a stroller, and it also holds his weapons when he's fighting against the bad guys. He also loves to help around the house putting away groceries or toiletries, we just stock his cart up and he goes and places everything in it's place!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bad Gift Choice I received this item as a Christmas gift for my 2 yr old. The item itself is fine, I would recommend it to other people who have room for something like that. When your gifting for people who live in an apartment or share a household with other relatives, large bulky presents are typically a bad idea. It's more likely that a child will get hurt trying to play with something like this around furniture in a close space.
