Dignified and plumply stuffed, Chestnut is over 16 inches long! His ribbon tie means he is dressed for any occasion, his softly curling "fur" is super-soft, and his winsome expression wins friends wherever he goes. The pads of his paws are smooth, in contrast with his fuzzy body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again. My 3yr old grandson selected it on the internet to replace a bear that he had lost along the way. When the box arrived, he couldn't wait to open it and hug his bear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful companion! I bought this from a hospital gift shop when my wife suffered a stroke. He stayed by her side in that hospital bed the entire time - the staff never once moved him, even when they took her in to rum tests, he was there with her. Over four years ago, she passed away in her sleep, lying next to me. I still have this silly bear. I named him Malcolm, after the captain of a spaceship from a show we both loved - a ship with a name our own floating home once bore (until we found out it was one of the top five most overused names for boats - seriously, I found three boats with that name ON THE SAME DOCK over in Sausalito). So, the boat changed names, but Mal was still captain that truly gave this boat - our home - the initial reason for it: "Love. You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home." She's gone now, but there is still love here. We bought this boat with love. We lived in her with love. I swear, I can still smell her on this silly bear. And tonight? I'm needing Malcolm to be beside me, because I have been missing Kéllia fiercely all week long. He's starting to smell a little mildewy...but it's been 10 years now. So, a little wash, maybe some Febreeze, and set him out to dry in the San Francisco Bay wind...I think that will do just fine...except that would also wash her off as well. So, maybe just a good airing out?
