Rated 2 out of 5 by Someone who doesn't like idiots from I Understand your point I can tell that they are trying to teach these children about the solar system, however these people didn't try at all. The scale is absurd, not a single bit of effort was put in to show any realism. Why couldn't they put the generic solar system model with the sun in the middle. Also there are hardly any moons around Jupiter. Yes I understand that they couldn't put all 62 moons but only three! Also most of space is just empty blackness. This is inaccurate. I also want to know since when has there been a second star this close to our solar system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grandma Liz from Beautiful This is a beautiful puzzle. The colors are so spectacular that keeps my grandson interested as he works his way through. He was three and a half when it arrived and six months later he is still interested. He has always been good at puzzles so this is not overly challenging but it is educational and always enjoyable. The pieces are large which makes it easier to learn and set in place. We bought this with the Solar System floor puzzle which also has the vibrant colors. No complaints.

Rated 3 out of 5 by momma from Almost perfect Love the puzzle except when trying to teach my 3 year old about the planets... This puzzle makes it look like Neptune is right next to the sun. So when trying to show the order of the planets, its very confusing when the picture shows the outer planets closer to the sun. I would rather it be 1 x 4 or 5 feet to be more accurate. Also difficult to mention Jupiter is the largest, when this puzzle makes Earth the largest. I understand why, but again makes it difficult to teach using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Julie from Recommend this item This was a gift for my 4 year old nephew. The pieces are large and solid. We did this one on the floor together and it held up with his brothers and sisters walking on it Christmas Day. Although it appears small in the picture once constructed it is larger (I forget exact measurements) which really makes the planets stand out. My nephew loved it. It's also a fun way for him to learn about planets and outer space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Karen from Will be buying more of these for the other grands as well. Gave this, the construction site and the fire engine floor puzzles to my grandson for his third birthday. He cannot play with them enough. His nanny thought the solar system would be too challenging, but he was determined. So good for learning some observation skills and simple problem solving! And the lack of batteries and obnoxious sounds make these a favorite with his parents!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grammie from Out of this world! This puzzle is my grandson's favorite at pre-school. He and his friends complete this puzzle at least four times every day! I wanted to get it for him for his 4th birthday. He was thrilled to have one now at home. Even though he can master it with no problem, he is always delighted to do this puzzle. I also sent one to my grand nephew for his 4th!
