Fine motor skills and early cognitive abilities are on a roll with this classic favorite! Sturdy, pegged cars are the base for 15 colorful pieces that can be configured over and over again. When assembled, the train is over 17 inches long--children can also separate the cars to change things up or share the fun. It's no wonder little ones and their parents choo-choo-choose this toy year after year!
Rated 5 out of 5 by Missy from Great, long lasting toy We received this stacking train as a baby gift and our daughter loves it! The pieces are easy for her to hold and great for teething. She's not able to put them back on the train yet but I'm sure she'll enjoy creatively playing with this train for years to come. I tried to clean the blocks in water and they split. After speaking with the very helpful customer serve representative she assured me that the chipped paint wouldn't hurt my daughter and she could still use the toy. In the future I will just wipe the pieces down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Momma of 4 from Graet fine motor practice! We bought the stacking Train Toddler Toy for our son at Christmas. He was 1 1/2 old at the time. He loved pulling the pieces off the train and dumping them in a basket. Now, almost 6 months later this toy gets played with fairly regularly. He loves taking the pieces off and putting them on in different ways. This is a wonderful toy for toddlers and my 5 year old son who has developmental delays gets an added boost of fine motor skill practice when I ask him to help his little brother put his train away! Bonus!

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1st Time Mom from Love This Toy! My parents bought this train for my son when he was a little over 12 mos. He's never been all that interested in playing with toys, but this one gets the most attention from him. He can't stack the blocks in order yet, but he loves to take them on and off the pegs and has just recently realized that he can pull the train around the room. We've had it for about a year and it's held his interest and taken a lot of abuse. Overall this has been a very durable, high-quality toy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 4649miranda from Fun Toy Our son got this when he was 2 years old. He was definitely TOO young for it at the time. Now that he is 4 1/2, he's played with it for well over a year and loved it! The only issue we have had is the blue peg fell off the one piece to hook the cars together and I'm not sure where it went...... Hubby didn't glue it right away and now we're missing pieces since we were down a whole "car" for awhile.... I WOULD STILL HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS TOY!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Samantha from My son loves this train My son is a 3 1/2. He 1st played with this train in therapy. Fell in love with it instantly. However that was not the only reason I bought him one of his own. He is learning as he plays. We work on his colors, shapes and play games that help improve upon his communication and social skills. I am very pleased with this purchase. It is solid construction and looks exactly like the picture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ruppett from Perfect Stacking Train Wonderful toy train. My son loves to change it all around and come up with different train ideas. It also helped with colors since they are so vibrant. And also helping with shapes. He has had this for over a year and he still plays with it. He will be 2-1/2 yrs and his little brother (10mons) is now playing with it. We will be able to store it and use it for our grandchildren.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Montessori Mommy from All aboard the playtime express! My son LOVES this train set. Not only is it easy to assemble but it allows him to be creative with how he stacks the blocks. It also has really helped him learn color recognition by naming the colors of each block as he places it on the train. I highly recommend this toy to anyone who has a child who loves to build and disassemble things and who loves to be creative.

Rated 5 out of 5 by nixietek from Got present too late in age This is a wonderfully built toy and colorful! My son, unfortunately, received this at an age where he was uninterested in it. He was already doing 24 piece puzzles and this was too easy for him...but he did enjoy it sporadically. I plan to keep this toy for my grandchildren someday. I plan on keeping ALL of Melissa & Doug products for my grandchildren. =)
