Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product I got this puzzle for my daughter when she was between 3 and 3.5 years old. She is advanced for her age at puzzles and I had difficulty finding a puzzle that was challenging enough, yet with peices she could handle. This puzzle fit exactly what I was looking for and she still asks to do it. It has taught her many of the states, and I relearned them while helping her with it. My daughter has many puzzles, and I'd say that this is a favorite for both of us. She loves learning about the states and I love that she is being educated and that the product is so sturdy. I like this product enough that I am considering getting the world map puzzle that is similar to this for Christmas or her 4th birthday.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from New Jersey is terrible Big fan of M&D products but I must say I was disappointed by the representation of New Jersey on the map. This is our state so I naturally wanted to show my daughter NJ first. First, it is lumped together with 5 states. We couldn't even get our own piece. Second, there is the mis-shape. Come on people. It looks like a telephone receiver. This is not the shape of NJ. Lastly, we have no representation for what the state is known for. It is the garden state. Show me a tomato! I am saddened by what has transpired here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from USA puzzle I love this puzzle. My 2 yr old is learning all the states. The only thing I don't like is that some pieces include more than one state. Michigan and Wisconsin should be separate. Pennsylavania West Virginia, Virginia and New York, also. They are big enough to be alone. I've had smaller puzzles that divide those states into separate pieces.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pieces didn't fit together I bought the underwater floor puzzle, the planet floor puzzle and the US States floor puzzle for my 3 year old granddaughter. The underwater and planet puzzles were fine but the states puzzle pieces didn't fit together well. Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio didn't lay flat and the entire puzzle kept slipping apart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent puzzle! This is the best puzzle I have bought for my daughter (about to become 3), she plays with it a lot, now she is making the puzzle upside down, and she remembers the location of the states looking at the blank side of it, I recorded her three days ago playing with it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgDxMDFX9gIThanks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun! Fun! Fun! This is the perfect puzzle for interactive learning. It is so much fun to do with my young daughter, and we even make up our own games with it. The pieces are so durrable that we can stand on the puzzle with our bare feet and pretend that we are visiting the different states. Overall, this is an excellent puzzle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a BIG puzzle Bought for our 4 year old grandson who loves puzzles. He enjoyed putting it together with help and it is our hope this will increase his knowledge of our country. Some of the pieces were tricky to fit together for his fingers, but we will no doubt do this puzzle...like others..MANY times.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Meets basic expectations I am using this with granddaughter as part of homeschooling her during the pandemic. It is colorful and sturdy. I wish Hawaii and Alaska were placed differently for a more accurate representation of where they are realizing they cannot be exact placements due to size and distance.
