Rated 5 out of 5 by Joanna from SUPER toy! Absolutely the best toy! We bought it for our son when he was 18months old. Now he is 2years and he knows all alphabet, big and small letters, started to spell simple words like mama or daddy and he is obsessed with this toy and generally with letters and numbers. He has also Melissa&Doug's shape sorting clock and can count until 20 now. We are looking now for See & Spell Learning Toy, Magnetic Chalkboard and Dry-Erase Board, ABC Picture Boards, Add & Subtract Abacus and magnetic letters and numbers in Canadian shops, because ordering it from USA is a bit too expensive. He has never enough letters and numbers, and Melissa&Doug toys are the best! Recommended for everyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Laura...mom first, teacher next from Want another...loved it so much! My 20-month old son has actually gotten pretty proficient at this puzzle - and pulls it out on his own! He has learned spatial relationship and is making connections between the picture / word with the beginning sound - or the letter name. I want at least one more to replace misplaced letters - the others to send as gifts. I love this puzzle and as a current 3rd grade teacher, am excited about the head start that my son is getting on letter recognition and reading.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Luiza from Great Puzzle Great for eye hand coordination, sequencing, alphabet recognition, fine motor, bilateral coordination, and etc. activities to use this puzzles are endless. Id do wish Melissa and Dough could come up with a clear covering/lid for all there board games/puzzles that include pieces so that the pieces are safe and secured after each use especially for traveling therapists. I hope this product last me a long time and I don lose any pieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kcwifeandmom from great puzzle This puzzle is easy to handle and it has pictures behind the letters that assist my kids in learning their alphabet. My 3 and 4 year olds work together as a team to put all the pieces in their place, encouraging each other as they play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Carolyn from Learning is fun with this puzzle. I bought this for my son who is now 10. I am now looking to buy it again for my 2 year old and my 2 month old when she is old enough. I love this puzzle and it is great for learning for so many reason. 1.Being the bright attractive colors 2.I like the way the placement slots are shaped to the letters and not just squared off -rounded out. this wat they are learning the letter on hand and the they are recognizind the slot it goes in because it to is the same letter. 3. As your child holds the perfect sized letter in their small hand you take their index finger and youtrace the letter and this to is going straight to their brain for letter recognition.4Travels in the car very very well and to all sorts of places you are going to go.JUST SO YOU KNOW I STILL HAVE THE PUZZLE I BOUGHT FOR MY 10 YEAR OLD [...] I HAVE PUT IT UP FOR HIS CHILDREN BECAUSE I Love this puzzle IT IS great. I have seen many like it but have not found one where the placements slots are the same as the letters and I think this is important. When a mother rebuys an item she still has to pass along to another child this item must be top of the line.Thank you for your time Mrs Kirby
