Cool toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over a month ago I have been using a daily pieces are well-made and sturdy. One change I would do would be to have the action figures a little bit bigger for the fingers of little children. Other than that it’s well designed and looks like Mario game.

Great kids gift
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If your kids love the new Mario movie, this is a good gift idea. Smaller than I expected - especially Mario. The truck seems well made and when it comes apart, easy to snap back together. Daughter is happy with it and of course wants to add to her collection!

Fun Set!

This lego set was a perfect touch to further my kids lego addiction. The instructions are easy to understand and like normal, the Legos are quality. Totally recommend.

Very cute toy

Great set!

It'sA Mehhhh, Mario!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cute toy in theory, but poorly executed in design. This is a good movie tie-in toy, and it looks identical to the Mario van in the movie. The van panels fold down all around to make a cute game scene with mushrooms and pipes. But there are some things about it that make me completely sour on buying it for a kid, but maybe only consider getting it as a collector item.
First, it does come with one action figure (Mario, in this case). But Mario is about the size of one finger joint. He's a cute little guy, but he's definitely getting sucked up by the vacuum at first opportunity.
Second, the toy doesn't make any sounds or have any moving parts to speak of(besides the fold down panels). So you're going to be making up your own stories, sounds, and moving the figure around for any play time you're having. It's great "look-at" toy; not so great "play-with" toy. For my young kiddo, the answer to "what does it do?" is a bit hard to answer.
Lastly, and this is my main beef with the toy- the joints on the panels are not tightly connected enough to withstand any sort of pressure. Younger kiddo from above paragraph found this out quickly, and suddenly a game was born: Throw the Mario Van on the floor and make it break into all the pieces then have Mom put it back together again. And so we found the best and most funnest use for the toy. The toy now resides in the top of my closet. Mehhh

The van itself is a standout feature, as it opens up to reveal a captivating course complete with pipes and mushrooms, just like in the game. The transformation from a closed van to an open course is simple and intuitive, allowing kids to effortlessly switch between different play modes.
Additionally, the playset includes a small Mario character, which adds to the excitement and authenticity of the experience. My kids were thrilled to have Mario join their adventures, and the figurine is well-made with attention to detail.
While we are thoroughly impressed with this playset, there is one suggestion for improvement. It would have been even more amazing if the van could open completely flat, providing an even larger playing area. However, this doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment and functionality of the playset.
Another aspect worth mentioning is how easy it is to open and close the van back to its original car form.
