Rated 5 out of 5 by from Add a little color to your writing! Ever since I started doing Quadrangles, the black Fudenosuke .3 and .5 pens are my holy grail pens for writing in my BuJo, my journal , on my to do lists, and just about everything else. I have tried using other pens in my BuJo, especially for the holidays or to notate special events, but nothing came close to the precision of the Fudenosuke. I was thrilled when I discovered these were now available in colors!!! The colored pens are cool because they allow the scribe to get a different text size by pressure and angle (something I would never try with my black pens).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dull Colors I eagerly awaited these pens since I love the black one so much. These still have the same wonderful nibs that produce beautiful calligraphy, but I found the colors to be dull and lifeless. A surprise from a company that makes such a wide variety of colors. The colors are not robust, so don't choose these if you are looking for vibrancy. The exception to this is the gray. Since it is a subdued color it works well for shading. And of course the black is the same pen we already know and love.Since it is an expensive set, be sure to consider this before purchasing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great start I was so super excited about these pens coming out and had very high expectations. They are good, but I wish they were more vibrant, and were "juicier". I feel like they are always on the verge of drying out, and don't feel like that should be something you should worry about after a handful of uses. They have not dried out, but just feel like they might, which leaves me reaching for other options at times. Which is sad, because I love my Tombow black pens, and the dual brush pens. So I hope they work on these new ones and improve that aspect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for beginners Brush lettering is my new obsession. I love the dual brush markers, but found it harder to get good results with those yet as a beginner (can't wait til I'm good enough to get good results from those!). Then I saw someone say that the Fudenosuke's were great for beginners & they were right! I feel like I have more control over these right now and am able to experience more success with these at this point. Thanks, Tombow - and yes, more colors, please!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely Recommend I just got my pens last week, and I really like them already! For anyone who has the black hard-tip pen, these write the same. The colors are bright, but also a bit see-through. Pink is the richest color and also the one, other than black, that is the least see-through. Green, yellow, orange, and gray are the most transparent. One good thing is that the yellow is super-bright, so it also almost stands out - or at least holds its own- on white paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pens! Love that Tombow came out with the fude color pens. I love Tombow products in general. These are hard-tip fudes, so I find them pretty forgiving and my favorite aspect is how easily you are able to get super thin upstroke lines. As far as the colors, they are not the richest or "juiciest" (compared to say, Pentel Touch). The green is like a lime color (I personally prefer jewel tones) but I am super happy to have them as a part of my pen arsenal. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these markers!! I love the fudenosuke 10-pack brush pens. I already had the beginners lettering set which only included black. When I found out at the Pinners Conference in Atlanta in April that they came in colors I knew I had to have them. They are the best. I like small to medium sized brush pens. I handle these better than the dual brush pens, but I'm practicing to get better. I hope that you will offer more colors in the future. Great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall great pens. Colors are great, so hopefully they come out with a bigger variety of colors. I started hand lettering about 2 months ago and I find these much easier to use than the dual brush markers. The only issue I had with these markers is that some of the colors dry out temporarily when writing with them. I wish they were a bit more “juicy”. I would’ve commend these as a starter pen for hand lettering. They are easy to control.
