The 1 year old likes to sit inside the turtle with the colorful balls, and also really enjoys the crinkly and jingly parts on the turtle. Our 3 year old has a ball (no pun intended!) throwing and kicking the balls around the room. This toy gets lots of use at our house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeps her busy! Baby had fun in this ball pit! Best thing is that it holds all the balls afterwards so they don't go rolling all over! The balls are soft plastic so my 8 month old can palm the balls without them slipping out of her hands. She isn't a big baby, so she likes being able to hold the ball in one hand and wave it around.

My husband wanted to buy a large ball pit for my sons birthday and I'm glad we started small. He's still warming up to it and the extra things on the turtle like the tags, zipper pulls, crinkle fins, and the mirror help entice him to come over.
