Product Overview

This Hot Wheels garage playset turns a T-Rex into the centerpiece of a four-floor track battle. Pulling the tail lifts cars up through the levels and sends them rolling off in different directions, turning a simple garage into an actual play mechanism. It parks up to 50 1:64 scale cars, so it works as a display spot for an existing die-cast collection as much as a place to race. Two die-cast vehicles and track adapters come included, so kids can start playing right out of the box.

Pull the T-Rex's tail to lift cars through four floors and launch them rolling off in different directions
Includes 2 die-cast 1:64 scale Hot Wheels vehicles plus track adapters for immediate play
Parks up to 50 1:64 scale cars, doubling as storage for a growing collection
Dinosaur-versus-racing theme brings a new twist to garage playset action

Skills Developed

primary skill: Hand-eye coordination
fine motor: Pulling the tail mechanism and loading small die-cast cars onto the track builds fine motor control.

Age Suitability

minimum safe age: 4 years
ideal age range: 4-8 years
developmental fit: 3-4 years: Younger children can pull the tail to trigger the lift-and-launch action with guidance. 5-7 years: Children in this range can manage the full track battle independently, including loading multiple cars and directing them through the four floors.
upper age note: Children over 8 may still enjoy the set primarily as a display and storage spot for their die-cast collection rather than for active play.

Play Patterns

primary play type: Imaginative track battle play
play structure: Open-ended, with cars launched in different directions each time the tail is pulled
social context: Works for solo play or alongside another child racing cars through the levels
adult involvement: Independent play once set up, with younger children benefiting from initial guidance
play progression: Starts with the included 2 cars and track adapters, and expands as more 1:64 scale cars are added to the collection
session length: Short, repeatable play bursts triggered by each pull of the tail

Compatibility

works with own line: Works with Hot Wheels and Matchbox track.

Why It Works

primary benefit: Combines a dinosaur-themed centerpiece with a four-floor track battle for active, hands-on play.
secondary benefit: Doubles as a display spot for up to 50 1:64 scale cars, giving continued use beyond active play sessions.
