My 3 year old son is crazy over all the Rescue Bots. He had no trouble learning how to transform them, it was very simple. He has all of them and is not able to put them down. The only negative issue I have experienced with the transforming Rescue bots is sometimes during transformation, if my son doesn't move his fingers out of the way fast enough it will pinch. He got pinched a couple of times but he learned his way around that. ;) Not anything major, thankfully, just an ouch.

Very easy for 4-year-old to manipulate back and forth from robot to vehicle. My son is crazy about this as well as his Bumblebee. A great buy!

Bought these because they are easy for smaller kids to transform. Unfortunately, the moving pieces quickly break and then it will not stay transformed as a vehicle any longer

I should have read the size before buying, but the picture alone is misleading, this is a pretty small toy, but again, my fault for not looking up the dimensions. Also, its not just "one touch" to lock him up, its three motions to do it. Also, his head does not lock into place and really has to be slammed shut. The legs dont lock closed either, so the bed of the truck looks open. My son still plays with this, but I would pay no more than $5 for this toy.

4 year old grandson can play with this and transform Optimus all by himself. these transformers are the best for small hands!

My son loves the idea of transformers but still has a hard time transforming the bigger kid models... even I have a hard time with those! So these new transformers for younger kids are awesome! 1 simple move transforms them back and forth and my son LOVES it! They seem very durable also for all the transforming they will go thru.

FINALLY! A Transformer that kids can transform themselves! Bought Heatwave (the firetruck) for my 4 year old son yesterday. He LOVES it! He carries it every where with him. He even fell asleep hugging it last night :) Plan on getting more of them for Christmas.

We bought this for my 2 year old and 4 year old, they LOVE this transformer. It is so easy for them to switch back and forth on their own! They have played with it for days and days and do not see that ending any time soon.
