We were a little disappointed when we first opened the box because we thought it would be bigger. However, it worked out perfectly for our nephew, and proved to be the perfect size. He loved all the moving parts and the working arm for grabbing all his other toys. It was great for playing inside and out and was his favorite gift! (The only draw back was the sharp corners on the bucket - it didn't hurt the little guy, but it hurt all of our ankles during play-time!)

We ordered this online for our 4 year old son, the moment we recieved it we're extremely disappointed. It is very flimsy and definitley not worth the price. I don't let my son take it outside and play in the dirt with it because it is so flimsy. I probably wouldn't pay more than $10 for it.

My 6 year old son has ALL the big construction equipment. He needed only an excavator. This one is big and sturdy. It works right along with his bulldozer, loader, backhoe, etc. He loves it.
