Pretty in Pink

In our family we have someone who uses a seated walker and a wheelchair and I just love that there is a doll to show how normal life can be in a chair. The inclusion of a ramp is a fantastic choice. The doll has get mobility spots on torso, arms,hands, legs, and feet which always for the doll to be positions differently that most dolls.

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love that toys are becoming more diverse. My daughter uses a wheelchair and gets so excited when she sees toys “Just like her”, it makes her so happy to know that there are others like her. This doll is so cute.

Great addition to our sisterhood
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] She fits right in with our other barbies. We have many different shapes sizes and abilities. The wheelchair wheels are smooth riding. I love the barbie and the outfit she came with! Her hair is so cool. I wear my hair like this sometimes so its great to have a barbie that matches.

Barbie Fashionista
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves her new Barbie Fashionista doll! Since she received it a few days ago, she has played with the doll several times each day. The doll is beautiful, fashionable and the high quality we expect from the Barbie brand. Her wheelchair fits perfectly in the elevator of her Barbie dreamhouse and seems to be of great quality as well. We love how inclusive Barbie has always been and would recommend this doll to any Barbie collector.

Great toy to teach diversity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that Barbie is expanding their range of different types of people. Being inclusive is important for all children. Children that are in wheelchairs deserve to have a doll that looks like them. Children who are not in wheelchairs should also see that we are all the same.

I like that this doll has her own chair, but what I REALLY love is her hair. It is beautiful and textured and nothing like the dolls I grew up with. Barbie has come such a long way

Nice doll and accessory
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doll is very pretty and I liked the way the doll fit into the wheelchair. The waist attachment holds her in the wheelchair nicely. The ramp that was included was a nice touch. The only negative I found was that the doll's hair is a bit messy and hard to style.

An articulated body for realistic play!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have quite a few dolls from the Fashionista line, but none hold my almost four year old granddaughter’s attention as this doll and her wheelchair. The doll is beautiful, with a full head of soft hair, large hoop earrings, jelly sandals and a simple summer romper that isn’t so fussy as to get in the way of play. What makes her most special is the fully articulated body that is easily posed to fit not only her accompanying wheelchair, but to bend into realistic positions using furniture and vehicles from other Barbie playsets and the Dreamhouse. The standard fashionistas with stiff arms and legs don’t compare! The wheelchair itself is well designed with a waist clip to secure the doll in the seat of the chair, two hand brakes to lock the wheels and and an adjustable footrest. My granddaughter was intrigued when she saw her great grandmother using a wheelchair during a short visit last month and this Barbie sized version gives her the chance to explore the different features of a wheelchair on her own. The included ramp is a nice touch that expands on what might be the challenges of navigating wheels over obstacles someone might encounter in real situations. It would have been nice if the set included a cup holder or a tote behind the seat to hold additional accessories, but the articulated body is plenty to make this doll a favorite!

Great addition!

Barbie is on a roll!
I am so pleased to see that Mattel has included young women who are wheel chair users. These dolls will be featured in an exhibit at the Northport Historcial Society in a display about Barbie. So thankful that the dolls arrived on time and ready for display.

Needs improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful doll. Great construction and the clothes are decent. The hair was matted down and full of kinks. Not all African-American women have nappy hair and my daughter was slightly upset about that.
