Positive first, it’s well made and detailed. However it won’t stay on the track! The front is always hanging off the track! Also it won’t run with all the cars attached!

It’s cheaply made for cost
We got this as a Christmas gift for my 4 year old and he LOVED it! It’s functional and has a cute theme…well for the first few days anyway. After a few days, the parts started breaking off (and with toddlers it needs to be very durable). Some of the tracks no longer connected to each other after barely taking them apart to reset very gently. It doesn’t stay on the track very well either, and this frustrated my toddler. It’s not really a train for “playing with”. More of a decoration piece. Well check out the FAO Schwartz one next year! This one’s going back!

I want a train for my Christmas dinner table has a conversation piece and bring little something extra to the holiday gathering and this was perfect. It got people talking about their desire for a train and childhood memories of been on a train. The train was a perfect size and don't have any issues with it also can place under the tree.

I was shocked that the train is plastic. The headlight popped off just trying to get it out the box. It's not the quality I expected from Macy's. I'm very disappointed. The engines are light and all plastic. The track is the only decent part of it.

Outstanding toy train!
Purchased this outstanding toy train for grown grandsons, who had a great time, setting it up and playing with it. It was a big hit &!very well-made. Lots of good detail included sound, and the train cars were much bigger than I expected.

Track pieces broken
So many of the curved pieces of track were unusable that it was impossible to connect the track so that the train could go around.
